Cruz should've took a tune-up before fighting Barao I don't see that fight going well for him.

Lil Nog is a step down for Gus but I guess he's the only available option in the UFC's opinion, should be easy work for him.

Exactly how I feel, over 1 year off for Cruz with a messed up knee, forget about rusty he won't be trusting his knee too much. Especially if we remember his fighting style relied on quick and speed and that bounce you couldn't hit it he was never in 1 place. But I guess the ufc wants him to lose, so that he can then have a rematch with Faber and then do a rematch with either guy vs Baro.

UFC cnt afford to have Gus lose his next fight, so lil nog is a perfect match we're gus should be able to out point nog and setup that rematch with Bones n make sum loot for the ufc.

Why would the UFC want him to lose? They like Cruz. Cruz could've easily taken a warm-up fight, but that would mean he would get stripped of the title, which he doesn't want.

Sometimes a loss means more money to a promoter. If Cruz loses, then you have a nice elminator fight between cruz/faber that'll b on a ppv in Anahiem or sumwhere in Cali. you can then hype up a mid ranked fighter to fight Barao prolly put it on a free ufc on fox show just to keep Barao busy and get him some more exposure. After Barao knocks buddy out, then you walk in the winner of Cruz or Faber into the ring and start the hype train on a big grudge match rematch.

But if Cruz beats Barao, there's not much fights to make after. no1 will care about a rematch between faber and barao again for a num1 contender.

I haven't seen Rampage in a long time but I think his natural ability will beat Joey even on Rampage's worst day. Rampage is more technical that people give him credit for. He acts like a clown but he's actually got really great technique.
