No talk about UFC 170 buyrates? :mjpls:

I usually see the promotion bragging on every successful PPV, even viewership of the Machida vs Mousasi card. UFC usually doesn't miss an opportunity to dikkride Rousey, so I'm curious to see how successful the PPV carried by "THE UFC's SUPERSTAR, OMG SHES SO GREAT [/joerogan]" was.

I haven't heard a peep tho. Any idea why? :mjpls:

Jones is already ducking! :laff::laff:

:heh: this is what you call ducking? he gotta fight one of them either way

Honestly tho....I been said this.

Both them nikkas have can crushed their way to title shots (Gus' second time on the can crusher circuit) and neither has beat a legit fighter in this division (not counting :flabbynsick: Shogun). Why not put them against each other? The way it's looking now DC could end up sitting on the shelf for the rest of the year waiting his turn unless he fights another hack in between.

Bones vs Tex is still 2 months away. They can set that shyt up if they wanted to.

This dude is such a fukking p*ssy its sad. So he wants two contenders to cancel each other out for his own benefit. I can see him now if DC wins. "He only had one true fight. His first fight was a can." Were you the one who said Dana and the UFC want that belt of his desperately because hes basically holding that division hostage ducking everyone?

Breh, Jones can crushed his way to the title. He didn't fight any quality opponents outside of Bader. Gus has fought the same exact dudes except hes been doing it for almost two years. DC has beaten top HW contenders. He really doesn't even have to beat 2-3 guys at lhw in my honest opinion because none of them are worth a damn. If they announce DC/Jones after Texeria fine. But he will have to take a fight because Gus/Jones 2 is happening

Why would the UFC want to eliminate 1 of the 2 big fights Jones has left at 205 though? And miss me with them not deserving it. Cormier did enough to earn a title shot at HW. Why the fukk would he have to do it all over again at a smaler weight class? And you saw what Gus did against Jones the first time who doesnt want to see that again?

Not to mention the fight we just saw today was because Jones refused to give Gus an immediate rematch. So now he wants him to win twice?

He also refused to give Machida a rematch afer he beat Bader on Fox and was promised a shot.

Bruh the only reason Bones got a title shot was cause of Rashad getting hurt. And lol @ Gus fought the same dudes. His last three wins are over Manwa, :flabbynsick: Shogun and Thiago fukkin silva. Most top 5-10 guy that Gus has been put up against either doesn't happen due to injury, or he lost like he did against Bones and Phil Davis. I'm still convinced Mousasi would have waxed Gus had Gus not backed out the fight but I digress. I'll take that Bader win over Manwa and Thaigo Silva.

As far as DC are we gonna really act like his boring ass fights vs :flabbynsick::flabbynsick: Frank Mir and Roy Nelson were the who's who at heavyweight? :mjlol: Neither of these dudes beat a top 5 guy in division in their UFC careers.

Nobody said Cormier gotta climb the ladder, the nikka debuted @ 6 in the division after fighting a Starbucks employee. I mean damn, not even 1 top 10 LHW opponent?

Taking a fight against Gus for the title shot is in DC's best interest anyway. Dude is already pretty old and if things go the way they're looking dude won't see a title shot till after this time next year maybe. He's not getting any younger and that weight cut is just gonna get tougher and tougher to make.

Despite what Bones says on twitter he isn't in control of UFC matchmaking. Machida had that rematch offered to him when Hendo got hurt training for his title shot. Machida refused the opportunity so Dana threw his title shot in the bushes. That's how we got Vitor vs Bones

I would take Silva, Shogun, and Manuwa in a heartbeat over Bader, Vera, and all the other bums Jones fought. That truly doesn't even matter though. The fact is, Gus beat the shyt out of Jones for 25 min. Any other fighter would have gotten an immediate rematch. Gus realistically shouldn't have to take on 2-3 fights for a rematch. So you conviently neglected mentioning how Cormier trashed Barnett and Silva and hes never been close to being in trouble in all of his fights? DC is undefeated and would not get any complaints if he received a title shot today. Do you realize how weak the 205lb division is? Why would you have two money matches possibly canceled out?

This the UFC we talking about. Besides

I didn't count the Strikeforce shyt cause of strikeforce. but really. The best guy on Cormier's resume is Bigfoot? :heh: Barnett? :ehh: I mean c'mon now.

Besides Gus vs DC IS a money match. They could headline a card with that alone, even a fox card. Hell, throw them on a Rousey PPV. And they would be the best oppnent either one has faced (sans Jones for Gus). Bones vs DC is huge long shot because even if 1, Jones beats Tex 2. Jones beats Gus 3. Jones doesn't get hurt, DC is still on the shelf for damn near a year and a half.

But I digress :manny: Guess 205 is too thin these days

That's just a silly thing to say. Besides Cain the only person other Bigfoot has lost to recently is DC. In that time he's beaten Arlovski, Mike Kyle, Fedor, Travis Browne, and Overeem.

Breh....Bigfoot aint really an impressive fighter. He's not bad or anything, it's just that damn near everyone in the HW divsion has a punchers chance and Bigfoot hit the lotto when he connected on Fedor. But let's be real. Bigfoot Silva shouldn't be the standout fighter on your resume.

You don't count Strikeforce? :what: Did you even watch SF? At a time, it was better then the UFC HW division. Bigfoot just came off destroying Fedor before Cormier and Barnett was on like a 6-7 fight win streak. Sure Cormier has faced some cans, but hes still top 3 in both LHW and HW. No one is going to buy a card headlined by Gus/Cormier with no title involved. Say that happens and Gus beats Cormier. You want to see Gus vs Davis or Jones vs Davis instead of Cormier? Its still a business at the end of the day. Like I said, Gus deserves his rematch. Cormier takes on winner of Davis/Rumble. He gets the winner of Jones/Gus around this time next year. Makes sense and that the best business move possible
