Barao should just move up. Hes too undisciplined to be cutting down to that division. Last fight he came into camp at 190lb. Thats beyond BJ Penn levels of not giving a fukkHopefully Barao is ok physically and just dehydrated from a hard weight cut. Otherwise, I like this for Barao. I thought the rematch was too soon, heck i thought their 1st fight as too soon for him. He was hurt and barely had time to rehab far less train mentally/physically for the fight the 1st time. We all know that wasn't the same or reg Barao in the ring their 1st match up.
Let Barao co main the superbowl ppv and redeem himself, if TJ is even the champ still by then. I wouldn't count out Soto either. I'm sure TJ wasn't training for a wrestler like Soto.
Is this still on PPV?Barao should just move up. Hes too undisciplined to be cutting down to that division. Last fight he came into camp at 190lb. Thats beyond BJ Penn levels of not giving a fukk
190 pounds? Where did you hear this?

yeah he came in heavy that last fight cuz he was coming off an injury, he had jus enough time to rehab, far less get a full camp in. This is the main reason y I respect guys like Anderson Silva so much. To stay at the top of ur game, get hurt, have surgery or rehab and still show up to fight in top shape is simply amazing.
it was the only good fight on the whole damn cardI was looking forward to this fight.

(over here in the uk its not though
) we have all fights on a pay sports channelMeltzer. Whoever told him might have been exaggerating, but its no secret he cuts a lot of weight before fight. Hell even in that embedded vlog he was telling his training partners he had not even begun to cut weight yet. Him and Cerrone are the two who look like shyt come weigh ins
I've got bad news for all the mixed martial arts (MMA) fans who were hoping Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight titleholder TJ Dillashaw was going to send a "get well soon" card to former division kingpin Renan Barao, who was pulled from their championship rematch after struggling to make weight (details).
Not happening.
"He's scared, he don't want it," Dillashaw said at today's UFC 177 weigh in event (watch the video here). "His coaches wanted the rematch more than he did. He never missed weight before and it's kind of funny that he wants to do it now."
Ouch.
When Barao was bumped from the pay-per-view (PPV) card, which takes place this Saturday night (August 30, 2014) inside Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California, the promotion borrowed Joe Soto from the FOX Sports 1 "Prelims" as an emergency fill in (more on that here).
"I'm a company man, I gotta fight whoever they put in front of me," he continued. "I'm the champion of the world, I want to beat anybody, especially in Sacramento."
Can he get it done? Find out right here.
Until then, you can check out the completely reworked UFC 177: "Dillashaw vs. Soto" fight card and line up here.
