I say Shogun by ground and pound stoppage Rd.2 if he doesn't win I would be shocked.

He's not the same fighter he was in Pride but he's still a top fighter. Vera is awful, there's really no way Shogun should lose outside of a lucky shot.

your definition of a top fighter is different from mine, hes average these days

vera could win

both him and machida have been crap the past couple of years

What's your definition? Top 10 in the world in your weight class = top fighter. Do you think everyone but Jones is average at LHW?

Nah, Machida looked pretty good against Bones while he lasted

Shogun was in a FOTY with Hendo. Shogun just has had a lot of injuries.

Dana is recommending Forrest Griffin and matt hughes to retire

UFC President Dana White Says It's Time for Forrest Griffin to Retire: Fan's Reaction - Yahoo! Sports

I woulda been pissed if I was tito and that moron ruined my "goodbye" to the fans, Matt Hughes is already in HoF, he had a good run too, Maybe give forrest a final fight, let him and Stephan Bonner fight again.........

On an upcoming UFC on FX :flabbynsick:

I dunno how Tito kept his composure during that shyt. That was sucker punch/curse him out on live tv worthy.

I'll be going to aforementioned UFC on FX lol. Any chance I get to see possibly Big Foot get beat up especially in person, im in.

:pachaha: this guy is hilarious I remember when he said forest and bonnar would always have a place in the ufc now hes mandating their retirement? has always called hughes the greatest this and that ever but he doesnt respect him enough to let the man decide when he wants to retire? I dont care for any of these cats so I welcome this ruthless aggression :krs: but :damn: these dudes (forrest/hughes) must be on a lot of money..

Hughes has been knocked out too many times for me to want to see him anymore. Forrest has been earthed more than a few times, as well. But I could live with seeing him fight some second-tier dudes...seeing whether or not they belong. Yaknow...like Forrest-Phil Davis, Forrest-Gustaffson........Forrest-Vera:upsetfavre:

Anyhoo...
2 new fights added to UFC 152: Matt "the JoneSlayer" Hammill is coming out of retirement and Charles Oliviera and Cub Swanson will square off......

On Oct. 5, Bellator's gonna try to rematch Eric Prindle-Thiago Santos.....AGAIN.

Mike Van Arsdale is leaving the Blackzilians and Melvin is glad about it. Helwani reported on his twitter that Melvin said "I'm glad he's gone. Hard to learn how to be a world champ from someone who was never 1." and "I never had that kind of respect for Mike. He adds that he is glad Mario Sperry is the new coach of the team. Strong words." Damn. I wonder why he's leaving. I also wonder why Melvin left Jackson's MMA in the first place :yeshrug:

I said that shyt a few weeks ago on LukieBoxing. I dont get it at all. Dude usually has decent fights even tho he had a terrible showing in the Evans fight. Now dude cant even get on the main card

Not getting on the main card but like I said he's not even main eventing the prelim for a fox card at the least he should be on a prelim for ppv on fx but he must of pissed the brass off with his lackluster performance to end up where he is ... He could he get booked on a shytty ppv like the Calgary card last month:childplease:
