Bisping wasn't the champion. This wasn't just some fight. Its for the second most prized belt in the organization. If the belts are gonna mean something, thaem Charles hasn't earned it. This isn't Strikeforce or Bellator. Its the fukking UFC. The big league.

breh the UFC had no other options. Hendo pulled out, and the UFC wanted to have the show still and not cancel it. And come on now breh, how many times had Couture and Penn get gifted title shots? And tell me you wouldn't want to see a Bones vs. Chael fight breh? The lead up and the anticipation would have been on another level. As much as the UFC is a sport, its entertainment and a business. Plus Chael was an elite fighter at 185 and gave Anderson fits when they fought. Even though Bones would have dominated Chael, do you really wanna see a Bones rematch Machida or Shogun again? fukk outta here with that, the 205 division is practically dead with Jones as champ, and Chael would have been new blood for the division, and a lot of people would have ordered that PPV for sure, definitely more than Bones vs. Hendo. As great as UFC is as a sport, but its about money and Bones vs. Chael would draw more money and PPV's than anyone at 205 right now, which seems like Bones is now more worried about getting his money and his guap, I don't see why Bones would not have taken the fight.

If 151 had a decent co-main event, this wouldn't have to happen. This is what happens when the UFC spreads themselves too thin over too many fighters. Its not Jon's job to be concerned with the other fighters. He's an independent contractor.

And no, I have no interest in watching someone who doesn't deserve a title shot get one. If the UFC wants to be taken seriously as a major sport, it can't resort to Mickey Mouse bullshyt.

Yea I agree too about the UFC's co-main not have big name stars, but come on now breh, the dude just fukked over ever other dudes on the card now whether or not he didn't want to. Jones is supposed to to be this superstar and the UFC relies upon him a lot, and honestly, what makes Machida deserving of a title shot than? He just got dominated by Bones and wow he beat Ryan Bader, so after one win he is gonna get a title shot now? Would you be cool if Chael beats Forrest, which he probably will, than would you be cool with him getting a title shot too than? To me there should be some ruling or something to define a number one contender or something, but there really are none. The UFC is and always gonna be a business first before sport, it always gonna be like that. And whether or not peeps are gonna like it, Chael would draw more and have more people clamoring for a fight against Bones a lot more than Machida, Shogun, Gustaffson, etc. even though Bones would merk Chael easily. Regardless, everyone is at fault and makes the UFC look really bad.

Cacs gonna be furious. Ultimaely the ufc canceleld the event not jon jones. Dana already said chael is not going to be talking his way to a title shot... Now he gets one? Stop it.

Bingo.

We all know how Chael is... of COURSE he's gonna step up and take the fight. Folks have this weird fascination with him because he's a trash talking white dude... now he gets props b/c he steps up to fight a champ??? The dude wants the attention. Period.

Jon Jones had the choice to turn it down... and on 8 days notice. Bisping talking that "Well I did it" shyt and LOST to Sonnen... so he has no room to talk.

Bones shouldn't pay his rent but he's still a ho. He BETTER keep that belt. Is he a fighter or not? Full training camp!

Alright then... if he's a ho... you go ahead and tell him next time you see him in person that he's a ho...

I swear this new generation is off the chain.. I miss the days when people like Mitch Greene got shown what popping off led to.... word to Mike Tyson.

If the UFC didn't put together such a fukking shytty fight card this wouldn't be a problem. Zuffa & the UFC just want the money, they've been putting together bad cards and relying on 1 fight to save a card. If the card was stacked, Jones not fighting wouldn't be such a big deal. Dana sounds like the bytch throwing people under the bus...he's just mad he's losing a little bit of money.

This is why I don't respect Dana White and UFC. Dana White have that slave master mentality. These UFC fighters ain't getting paid shyt compared to Boxers, while Dana White pocketing all the PPV money.

I think it's time for MMA fighters to start fighting independently on PPV and make more money on their own like Boxers.

This

The UFC are using Bones as a scapegoat for their crappy planning. IMO they need to get rid of Dana, he is one of the reasons why MMA will never be taken seriously in the mainstream, always running his mouth and talking way too much

Makes no sense that Chael gets a title fight after coming off a loss because he is happy to step in on 8 days notice...he doesn't deserve it and props to Jones for saying no

Listen Dana White is a jerk off and is mainly at fault here. But I would of liked to see some competitive nature out of Jon Jones dude said he'll take the fight bust his face in. Greg Jackson and Jon Jones disgust me showing there true colors once again.
