This whole situation with UFC 151 has been crazy, never would have guessed Bones would end up fighting Vitor.
If Rumble is struggling like that to make LHW, how the hell did he fight at 170

just off the fact that i wont be getting to see hendo/jones face off in a couple days makes me angry.. and then him denying shots to some mw's makes some sense for reasons like why would they get shots anyways but none when it comes to jones perspective when he strikes fear in many top lhw's but says no it might be a trap when it comes to some mw's?
shogun and machida want parts of jones with a months time but he doesnt want anything to do with sonnen or weidman? champs with cleared divisions do odd fights from time to time just mad he wont do a sideshow for my amusement.. if he would lose to anyone in the mw division besides silva then he's not who we thought he was anyway

we all know Jones ain't scared of none of these fighters. He declined the Machida fight but we all know he ain't scared of Machida. Put homey to sleep like
It's not fear, it's about what's best for him as the champion. I'm sure if he wasn't forced to put the title on the line then it would've been a different story. Same thing if there was more than 3 days that he prepared. But if he's proposed a fight where there's no benefit for him (aside from meager financial splits), then what's the point.

i never heard jones decline the machida fight, just that he just wasnt excited about it since he's dangerous, only won once and wasnt a huge ppv draw..
he gets a cut from the ppv numbers so im not sure how it would be a meager when he gets like 400 - 500k for the fight then whatever he gets thrown from the ppv sales
its not about that tho its just that he's being extra cautious about a short stocky wrestler from mw who has no knockout power.. what do you need from winklejohn and jackson for sonnen? just wanted him to jump in there and make the best of a shytty situation. it was like a month out when shogun found out he was fighting a 6 4 manchild instead of a scrappy rashad evans and he took that shyt with stride.. you suppose to pick and choose fights if you are a contender not trying to lose your spot.. not the champ who is trying to transcend to being the new anderson

Yeah, it's crazy. I remember at one point he was walking around at 240 during a layoff after an injury. I wouldn't be surprised if he missed weight for a heavy weight bout.

After Jones runs through Vitor, who is left? Dan is gonna be out for awhile and Lyoto was already next in line after. Even if Dan somehow makes it back for a January card, i'd see Lyoto fighting Jones next, no later than April.
