yea after he hurt him Jorge was just looking for the left hook again the rest of the fight. but he wasn't throwing enough to set it up outside of a body kick here or there

then you taunt and get caught multiple times Coasting cost him the fight but I can't fault him for being pissed, Iaquinta was bloodied up at the end of every round

Great performance by Mendes, he is in a tough spot now where a title shot isn't happening while Aldo is champ. Agree that a fight with him and Frankie Edgar would be great.

Masvidal . I'm a fan of his and thought he did enough to earn the decision, but he always has a tendency to fight like that and let Al back into the fight after the 1st rd. I had a feeling that when he slowed his output and Al kept coming forward and throwing strikes he had a chance to get the decision. Masvidal said he felt Al was a step backwards for him, before the fight and wasn't excited to fight him. If you feel you should be fighting someone higher ranked, you need to come out and make a statement and destroy Al .

Props to Juliana Pena for coming back after a horrific injury and looking good while doing so. Her talking about being champ though

Dustin looked good going back to LW, he might never be an elite fighter but is always fun to watch.

Personally, I think grabbing the championship belt is crossing the line though. That's not mic skills or being witty at all. In fact I'd say Connor was gotten to during that presser and he just reacted without thinking, grabbed the belt.

I had connor winning this fight because of his size advantage striking , even made a bet with @Mowgli
