Not sure how many UFC has under contract, but there are a lot fighting outside the company they can scoop up.

Some gifs from one of the best fights of the year, Julie Kedzie taking it to Miesha Tate

I think Liz Carmouche is calling out Ronda next..that girl is a beast, she really brings the fight to her opponents

Tara La Rosa is another one who i want to see fight Ronda, she also runs her mouth..the trash talking will be epic lol

Shayne Bazsler is also in the mix...she is good but i always expected her to be better..i dont know maybe because she is Josh Barnetts protege

Dont forget Marloes Coenen, after her fight with Cyborg, she didn't want anything to do with her again and said she will never trash talk her ever lol

Look at this staredown from 0.55...still gives me chills

Here is the last round of their fight...now tell me Cyborg isn't a beast

After Cyborg whoops her butt

RIP to Wands father

UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida are set to star in the movie Tapped. The Score reported the that they will be in Canada for filming beginning September 4
The father of MMA fighter Wanderlei Silva, Holando Pinheiro da Silva, died in a car accident this afternoon. The accident occurred in the region of Castro, where his father lived fighter. The body was taken to the Forensic Institute of Ponta Grossa, in the Campos Gerais region. According to relatives, Wanderlei Silva is in Las Vegas, United States, and was told of the accident by phone. The fighter comes to Paraná tomorrow.

A UFC fighter has been charged with battery after allegedly sucker punching a man in the face at a bar.
Chad Mendes, one of the top featherweight competitors in the world, faces a potential fine of $2,000 and up to six months in county jail for the incident that occurred in his hometown of Hanford, Calif., according to the Hanford Sentinel.
Kings County Sheriff’s deputies say Mendes punched a man in the face on July 29 at Lacey Inn Bar and then ran out the backdoor away from cops, managing to evade arrest. Witnesses at the scene recognized him, though.
“The victim felt lucky to walk out with just a contusion after being punched by Mendes,” assistant sheriff Dave Putnam told the Sentinel.
Mendes had left the area to coach a teammate in Ohio before the charges became public. His representatives said the “majority of the facts pertaining to him in the story are absolutely false.”
Mendes, through spokesmen, promised to meet with law enforcement upon his return to California. His arraignment is set for Sept. 19.

Liz is a very solid fighter, but her strengths are taking her opponents down and working GnP, perfect setup for Ronda to catch an arm.

Tara is too small, she likes fighting at 125 I believe

Bazsler is solid and has good subs, would be fun on the ground while it lasted. Would still favor Ronda.

Marloes size wise might make it interesting, but if Miesha was able to get her down and choke her out, I think Ronda could do so as well.

Fresh off her loss to Ronda, Sarah Kaufmann has signed to face Kaitlin Young at the next Invicta show in Oct. Both fighters like to throw down on the feet, so it should be a good fight.

I really like Liz she is going to do big things in the future.

Funny thing is Tara was calling out Miesha and telling her to drop to 125 to fight her. Since Ronda likes 135 maybe they will fight at 130

Dont get me wrong I like Baszler she did bring the fight to Cyborg I just expect her to better if you understand what I am trying to say

Coker did say he wouldn't mind lending fighters to Invicta I think that is a great idea. I like that match up

Interesting

There’s an old phrase that goes, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” In Vitor Belfort’s case, the enemy of my UFC 152 opponent is my new head coach.*

Shortly before “The Phenom” decided to challenge light heavyweight king Jon Jones for his crown on just one month’s notice, he started honing his skills with Rashad Evans and the talented Blackzilian squad in Florida.

As it turns out, Evans will be spearheading Belfort’s camp as he prepares to battle “Bones.”

“This is the most important fight of my life, so the time is perfect to join [manager] Glenn Robinson and the Blackzilians and their world class training camp at JACO Hybrid Training Center in Delray Beach,” Belfort stated. “I will have the best trainers and the top fighters in the sport including Alistair Overeem and Rashad Evans helping me prepare for this title fight.

“I will run my whole training camp at JACO and will win the belt for my fans, family and the Blackzilians in South Florida.”

Although this will mark Evans’ first major coaching gig, Belfort’s decision to have “Suga” run the show is understandable. Theoretically, Evans knows Jones better than any other light heavyweight on the planet.

Not only were they former training partners at Greg Jackson’s gym, but he is also the only man to spend 25 minutes inside the Octagon with Jones in a real fight. Jones posted a unanimous decision win over his prior mentor at UFC 145 in April.

Jones will stand across the cage from Belfort on September 22nd. If the champ peeks just over his opponent’s shoulder, his archenemy will be there, too.

Belcher has a fractured spine....so they're just gonna put Phil Davis/Wagner Prado rematch on the main card in Brazil @153.

Any ideas who Rashad's fighting on Dec. 29th?
