Johnson is a terrible fighter. He probably has the worst ground game of any fighter in a major org. There's a reason Schaub asked for this fight. It will be an easy victory.

Yes, his ground game is absolutely horrible, but when has Schaub taken anyone down.

Mannnnn UFC are suckas, :mindblown: they know everyone wanted that Cerrone vs Pettis fight on that epic card

I would've liked that fight on FOX as much as anyone else, but why not use that to beef up a PPV or headline a FX/Fuel card.

Not good publicity for the Jackson-Winklejohn camp

Not excusing his behavior but dude has had a real hard life if i remember correctly his mother killed one of his siblings and he was born in a mental health facility- he had a promising career

:sadbron:

Sounds like dude aint wrapped too tight, and not getting on TUF was the straw that broke the camel's back. Hope dude gets the help that he needs

I think I'm going to actually cheer for my man GSP. I've never been the biggest fan of his as a fighter but he seems cool in his interviews. Plus as big as a fan of Condit that I was, I just can't get over the Diaz fight. I don't want to argue if it was right or wrong. it just left me with a bad feeling. I'll cheer for Condit after the GSP fight.

GSP always seems like a nice enough guy. Dont understand the hate that he gets...i mean i understand he got boring after awhile but :manny:

I hope he beats Condit so we can see a Diaz-GSP matchup :lolbron:

That's what kind of sucks. GSP VS Silva will happen first. Then the Kampmann VS Hendricks winner gets the next shot. So Diaz VS GSP may not happen for a while, and that's if it ever happens.

I think they'll fukk over the Kampmann VS Hendricks winner and not give them the shot. Then maybe have them fight Nick when he comes back.

''didn't even think about that WOW @danawhitwe

Greg gets a bad wrap when some of my teammates make weak decisions #Bs
Quote:
Fan tells sanchez greg told him not to take the fight

Greg told jon not to take the fight, must have thought jones would lose right?
Quote:

Asked if he would of took the fight on 8 days notice

Hell yes i would have if your the best prove it and especially against a guy with no camp and is moving up in weight #NoBrainer
Quote:
Jon commited fan suicide i can already hear the boos

Fan calls him a sellout for going against his teammate

It use to be about brotherhood in the good ol days before it became a big business now it's just that #Business

rashad:
"For me, it's a two part question for me. For one, you want to always keep it right for the fighters. It's great for the fighters to have the right to choose a fight. That is one of the liberties we do have, the option to say yes or no to a fight. But then on the other hand, you have a tremendous responsibility as the champion. You are the champion of the UFC. Not only that, you became champion of the UFC through circumstances like this. You had the opportunity to fight for someone that was injured. He stepped into a fight, after I got hurt, so he stepped in for me to fight Shogun. So, he was rewarded by the very process of somebody stepping in to take a fight. So, he owed it to the UFC to take the fight. Not only that, he owed it to all the other fighters on this card who are going to be missing paydays because of that. And lets not talk about how the UFC has done so much to make him the face of the UFC. They sponsored him. Everything he's gotten is because of the UFC, the whole Nike endorsement and everything else like that, has all been because of the UFC. When he got in trouble a few months back, it was the UFC who stood behind him and kind of made it go away relatively quickly. So, for him to turn his back on the UFC is very hard to believe, for one, but it's just disappointing. I'm sure one day, when he has the time to understand the ramifications of his decision, he's is gonna think, 'Wow. What did I really do?'"

Instead of taking the opportunity to bash Jones, Evans chose the high road, not surprisingly, and gave a straightforward and honest answer when it came to his former training partner:

Quote:
"For me, it's more of a sadness than anything. What it comes down to at the end of the day, despite the fact that me and Jon had our situations and we did part ways the way we did and we fought and I lost, I don't want to wish bad on him. I never want to wish bad on anybody like that because these are things in life that affects more than Jon Jones. It affects his family, it affects everyone that is close to him. So, to wish bad on him is to wish bad on a lot of other people that I have no problems with. Another thing is, dimming his light doesn't make my light any brighter. So for me, I just feel bad that it has come to light, exactly what I was saying and I don't want to be like, 'Ah man, I told you so, I told you so.' I would have been happy if he made me look like a liar. For me, it's about the organization and the sport and he is an ambassador for the sport, so, when he does things like this, it affects everybody involved. If he is going to be champion, then he has to take responsibility pretty serious and know and that he is representing more than just himself with the choices that he makes."

Everybody scared of Dana thats why they wont put this on him. At the end of the day it aint Jones responsibility for them other nikkas. he had a choice and he made it. Rashad was being honest, but things change when youre the champ, you get the discretion to make moves like that when youre on top.

“As a Brazilian, I’ll be rooting for the Brazilian, even though I have a very good friendship with Jon Jones,” said (Anderson) Silva. “Whenever I’m with him, I ask him to conduct his career in a different way, because he is very young and is always asking me something. But I’ll be rooting for Brazil, yes. May the best man win, but I’m rooting for Brazil.”

Has the seed been planted?

And DAMN! Rashad totally is not fu##ing w/ the Jackson/Winkeljohn/Grudge family anymore, huh? Training w/ Big Country to get him ready for Carwin? Even if he's just there to help on the tv show...he's not helping Shane.
