He won 1 round. DC was present for 3 rds. Rd 4 and 5 he was flabby and sick. He fought 25 minutes and all he got out of it was a struggle slam.

Davis is a bigger win than any of DC's wins. Also you trying to clown by calling him a gatekeeper, but he's a gatekeeper to the top 5 and even Davis has achieved more at 205 than potato sack.
Rumble knocked out Gus, the #2 ranked guy. Potato sack doesn't have a top 5 win in any division.

Jones didn't do much in the last 2 rounds (although he did win those rounds). They both looked pretty flabby and sick in the last 2 rounds.

The Barnett and Bigfoot wins are equal to the win against Davis.

DC getting a title shot and being competitive against Jones is better than anything Davis has done in the division. Davis's career highlight is beating an up and coming Gus 5 years ago. What else has Davis really done? Don't bring up the Machida fight, he clearly lost that fight.

Bigfoot and Barnett were both ranked around the top 5-7 in the HW division when DC beat them.

If DC was a fraud, Jones would've smashed him. But that didn't happen, proving that he's far from a fraud.

DC is going to beat Rumble. Matchups are everything. DC is great defensively and wont stand around with his head straight like Gus. Plus he has the wrestling advantage. I expect a clear UD for him.

Cormier would beat cain imo. At 205 he hasn't done anything though.

damned if I know but with Anderson and Jones gone mma has lost a lot of legitimacy. A lot of these dudes like Chuck Liddell who are heralded were nothing more than bar fighters as far as I'm concerned.

true that. I'm very interested in watching how Ed Ruth develops what's your take on him? I just hope he has better hands than Phil David and learns how to utilize kicks. But I guess I'm asking for the perfect fighter.

never heard of Ruth till the news of his signing but I do know from history only a handful of fighters that primarily use wrestling end up being entertaining "complete" fighters

A couple of months ago Jon jones showed a clip of him on his IG doing a jump spinning roundhouse kick hitting a pad Jon Jones was holding up. That's when I first heard of him. But he wasn't supposed to be signing until after next year Olympics I wonder what changed his mind.

And I get you they are complete fighters but someone like koscheck who could be considered a complete fighter never passed the hump. I hope Ed Ruth does
