i get what you're saying but it's not really their fault. i think the hate should be aimed much more at the organization, dana, matchmakers, etc...those guys. the opportunities, the money, the hype - that's on the ufc, not the fighters themselves. especially ones like sage and pvz (since those are the examples we're rolling with) who aren't even trying to shyt talk/WWE their way into the spotlight.

I agree it isn't their fault. But when you don't have a organized union articulating these thoughts in a professional manner then you get guys like Ferguson, Matt brown, Diaz bros, etc just lashing out sounding salty. I kinda look at this situation in the way the NFL had the problem with1st round draft picks automatically getting deals that made them the highest paid players in the league until the players union fixed the issue. That is never gonna happen in the UFC though so what do you expect from a bunch of people who get their heads kicked in for peanuts

whats not to get? They're two young prospects who don't belong in the UFC much less headlining and making more $$ then the majority of veteran fighters. Of course people are salty. I personally don't care but it's easy to understand the hate and jealousy. UFC is supposed to be the elite, it's insulting to have a novice like Sage on a main card getting paid more than highly skilled veterans just because Dana found him on some show.

I've always been indifferent towards Benson, I want to like him but I just cant fukk with his fighting style atall.

Perfect for Bellator, he can get finishes over there and he's a guaranteed 3-4 fight a year guy

I actually liked his style, his fight with masvidal was one of my fav fights last year

Gonna be interesting to see bellator's roster in a few years. Strikeforce roster would be fire by now if they didn't sell

the thing is I don't think he is but we can only suspect. I think he might be getting more per fight but would probably earn more in the UFC due to quantity of fights per year but then there are sponsors so it's a whole different convo.

If you see the current ufc on Fox weighins (can't recall which fighter he was cornering) but bendo didn't even shake Dana or Joe silva's hand so I don't think everything is everything. Malki kawa even said when he went to the UFC to discuss ben's contract they were like not interested and this isn't long after the buzz henderson had off of thatch. To play devils advocate though how many Fox cards did he headline? Did that boost his buys?

I don't know why they let Bendo go. He wasn't the flashiest or most exciting but he wasn't Fitch either. Dudes act like Bendo fights suck which they didn't. Both Frankie fights solid. The Melendez fight was one of the best that year. 2-0 at 170. Oh well. Great pick up for Bellator and that signing really boosts their profile. Good to see legit competition to Zuffa
