There is no scenario where he faces Gus again unless they give him rashad and bader then say he's no 1 contender

Honestly after Cormier and Rumble; there's nobody else I see beating Gus. So he'd really just have to wait out those two and if Jones beats 'em, he becomes the most compelling opponent off the near victory in the first fight and lack of contenders after him (right now I've got Glover after him...that's a big drop off imo).

Gus was competitive against Jones and DC. That's more than most the 205 division can say. He could've legit gotten the decision against Jones and he had DC in trouble in their fight. Against Rumble he just ran into a killer.
