If these guys are not getting paid to stay ready don't expect them to. Aldo is known to blow up in between fights, there's no way he can fight with less then 2 weeks notice.
Just look at mendes, he gassed out after one round with 2 weeks notice, unless Diaz getting ready for a marathon or something he won't have much beyond a round either

But you would think with all the fights Aldo has had in his life, he would have a baseline of at least 3 rounds at any given time...

It makes me think that these fighters don't do enough cardio, they are too busy working on high injury risk methods, instead of polishing technique and conditioning...

I've been saying this for a while MMA training needs to be overhauled. UFC should lead the way and establish some guidelines. It makes no sense the amount of guys that get hurt right before a big fight.

Rogan is a legit MMA fan, and has a very good eye for what's happening during fights, no reason for him to get replaced

- basically a soundboard at this point ("ohhhh" everytime something significant happens(man has no other natural reactions except for OHHH))
-shows bias towards a fighter in most big fights from the get go


At least he has a soul unlike goldberg but

Literally every other part time commentstor is MUCH better than rogan

stann & cruz offer much better analysis of whats going on in a fight and are easy to listen to

The fan comment is more in comparison to goldberg who sounds like he's there for paychecks.

I don't have a problem with his voice, if anything it stands out.
I think he should just have Goldberg's job that way he could actually drop his knowledge of the sport way easier.

He definitely shows bias tho, that's what I dislike the most about his commentary, he's almost too involved in the game.

You probably wouldn't believe it but most fighters are putting on at least 30 pounds in between fights, Hendricks is one of those guys as well. I wouldn't want to watch Aldo with 2 weeks notice, he would look terrible

Think a guy like Edgar who doesn't much gain or cut much weight would probably be able to succeed with a short camp but guys like him are rare
