The Luke Thomas fight breakdown is great too (especially his covering Conor's first round BJJ and Nate's second round work to the mount). I'm a huge fan of Jack Slack and Luke Thomas, best two in the business at breaking down fighters, their patterns and the fights in general.

Also, did I see a dude say Conor beat a bunch of non-top 10 guys? I get not liking the dude and I know everyone likes to discredit the Mendes win but Conor also walked through Poirier and Holloway on his way to those two fights; both dudes are legit.
Conor had the best run to a title fight in the division's history but people will continue to downgrade it for no good reason. Poirier was ranked no. 5 at FW. Go watch the free fight between the two on youtube to see Dustin's ranking at the time, if you don't believe. Mendes was ranked no. 2 and Conor KOd him too. I love Aldo but he beat maybe one ranked guy before he beat down Mike Brown for a title shot. Frankie was on a 2 fight losing streak when he got a shot. Mendes beat guys like Guida and Elkins, which were probably the best wins he had during the streak that lead to Aldo 2. If Frankie gets another FW shot then he probably does have a better streak than Conor did, once I think about it but Dana's gotta stop fcking him over first :lolbron::lolbron:

They're saying 196 did a million and change in PPV buys :leon: Conor definitely commands an audience and is getting a hefty payday off it. I'll never begrudge a fighter getting his just due.

I had a bunch of friends who don't watch the sport, asking me about the fight and where/when they can watch it.

I was rooting for Nate to win, but I respect Conor. He brings a lot of attention to the sport.

Conor deserves more credit obviously for the buys, but Nate had a pretty big hand in it too. The buzz surrounding this card was surprisingly low when it was RDA/Conor.

You're right, Nate coming in definitely bumped up those numbers. It wasn't my intention to exclude his hand in that buyrate.

Jack Slack and Luke Thomas provide excellent analysis, the only 'experts' I take seriously, also Gracie breakdown do a good job

Also, I wish people would just come out and say 'I hate (insert athlete) so I'm not going to give him /her any credit', rather than posting nonsensical bullshyt under the guise of critical thought :snoop:

You what wld be a huge pay day. If Connor beats frankie/aldo on ufc 200 and nate beats rds at 155. And then we get a Connor vs nate rematch but at 155? That wld prolly be record setting numbers, could even do in a stadium maybe Dallas.

I know 2 huge it's both guys winning the next fight. But then the biggest if would be if Connor wld fight nate again or bytch out?
