are you white by any chance cuz it seems most have this viewpoint.Its like the ufc and cacs try their hardest to put gsp in the same sentence as anderson but when push comes to shove and the proposed catchweight fight is brought up its "aw gsp is too small" or they just say what u just posted.
I have never seen a more coddled fighter,they try to play off his title reign like hes been champ since 07 despite the fact he lost to serra and regained it in 08. They try to say hes this supreme mma fighter despite the fact he cant finish any "WW" but hughes.They elect to keep the title around his waist inflating his reign despite the fact hes been inactive for 19 months.Now he needs to be protected from the big bad silva and a 25 year old that still writing his legacy should take his place?

I'm happy with either one. If both end up happening, even better.
The thing that confuses me is the apparent pact in place between Silva and Jones NOT to fight each other. Why the hell not? I haven't heard a real strong reason yet. And Silva deferring to other 205ers in his own camp doesn't cut it.

There is no pact in fact I doubt they are anything other than acquaintances.Anderson just knows what side his bread is buttered and isnt about to test his TDD or guard against jones
Both have reservations most likely. This stance by both helps drives the price up. Best possible move IMO.
