What's the reason? I can't watch at work

Essentially:

- Ariel got fired over the phone.
- Other analysts sort of distanced themselves from Ariel
- He was vague, but it sounds like he was fired for his interview with Rory Mac where it was interpreted he was advocating free agency(edit: interview is here if you missed it)
- Dana orchestrated this 100%

I didn't catch him saying he won't buy another ppv again though unless you were saying that. It was dope to hear Dana giving him that break and basically putting him on.

Again are we sure it is Dana @RubioTheCruel how?

Yeah, if this is true somebody needs to force him to go sit down somewhere for his own good.

At this rate he's one more bad decision away from being a 30 For 30 episode, "What if I told you the greatest MMA fighter of all time couldn't beat his demons out of the cage Broken: The Jon Bones Jones Story :to:"

Dude is hellbent on getting that 30 For 30:mjcry:

Bendo reportedly getting 250-275k per fight with Bellator. Mitrione getting 125k per fight. Good to see them getting paid.
with the way bellator do things how many times will he fight though, if he just fights once a year is he really getting paid? In 2012 he fought x3 and his culminated purse was 299k :yeshrug:

You're forgetting sponsorship money in Bellator. 250-275k per fight + sponsorship money.
In 2012 there was no reebook deal hence why I referenced it :beli: he's seen this kinda of money before is the point. Getting "paid" was fedor/ Dan henderson in strikeforce

Yeah hes gettin paid now, but in another 8-12 months no1 outside of mma pundits will know or care if he even exists anymore. And then that money will dry up, Bellator just won't schedule the rest of his fights, and then he gets nothing.

Thats the beauty of MMA rite now, you can sign a fighter for a 2, 5, 10 shoot even 15 fight deal for whatever money. But if you don't schedule them to fight, they dont get that money. If Connor gets knocked on a$$ a couple more times he will magically vanish away. Jon Fitch, hey you left UFC for a better deal, hows that going for ya, anybody even know your breathing still.

If they stop giving him fights, that will likely be a breach of their contract. You can't just stop giving a fighter fights. In most (if not all) MMA contracts, the promotion has to give you a certain number of fights per year (at least 2-3 I believe).

People are also saying him leaking Diaz/McGregor II played a role.

Ariel said this isn't the first time he's been in trouble with the UFC/FOX.
