Man watching that interview was tough.

Rashad is one of my favorite fighters of all time. I got reintroduced to MMA through TUF 1 so Rashad is probably one of the first prospects i got to see grow into a world champion right before my eyes. Remember him on season 2 of TUF and it was hard not to like the guy. Was an underdog fighting heavyweights well actually a lot of them were LHW but still the smallest guy in the house that dikk Hughes given him shyt had to fight pretty much every week and goes on to win the show. I just knew that he would win the belt one day.

Seeing him go from just laying on people to progressing and getting ground and pound Ko and high kick Ko. I used to sit and analize ways he could beat Chuck Liddell. Then they acutally fight down the line and let me tell you something when he Koed Liddell its still my favorite moment in MMA history. Then seeing him actually capture the title man it was sweet. To actually be rooting for someone from the beginning and actually see that build to him reaching the title was cool as fukk.

If thats his last fight:salute: for all the great memories.

I used to like Rashad until Machida destroyed him mentally. Then he became Mr. Decision and one of the fighters I hated watching

He had a nice career

Give me Dos Anjos vs Khabib 2 :blessed: and Texeira vs Gus

Seeing that vid and hearing Dana say rashad should retire is just a reminder how cut throat the game can be when you are on the decline and the brass never liked you in the first place. Yeah he's lost a step and he's never been got like that however he really shouldn't have been facing Glover just yet. The moment shogun pulled out they should have got him another vet with miles or scrapped the fight altogether, dude saved the card by taking a fight that was a stylistic nightmare. He's obviously on good money and when you factor the fact he's never really been a big draw it's :francis:

His PPV's drew big during the golden years

I remember watching TUF season 2 on TV about 7-8 years ago. It was one of the first times I was ever exposed to MMA. After watching that season, Rashad instantly became one of my favorite fighters. I met him too a few years back and he was super friendly and cool. Seeing him lose like that yesterday had me :mjcry: It's been crazy seeing him going through his ups and downs. His post interview was :to: Watching him hold back tears

Rashad is one of the good guys in this sport. I was rooting for him on his season of TUF especially after Matt Hughes punk ass got in his feelings about Rashad showboating. Sounds to me like he doesn't have that fire in him anymore for whatever reason, once you lose that you rarely if ever get it back.

Rashad Rashad Rashad :ohnooo:

One of my favorite MMA athletes! I want him to take another fight so he can try to retire on a W. . .but at the same time, I don't want to see him slumped again (plus possible brain damage)

Props to GT. I hope the UFC books Rumble/GT.

Fight Nights? Fedor's going to be on Fight Pass? Maybe he's closer to being on a UFC card than we think :ohhh:

It's a Rizin show, but they're just using the name Fight Nights.

It's not affiliated with the UFC or Fight Pass at all.

Ah, makes sense. I'm guessing this won't be on Fight Pass then since it's a Rizin show.
