Weekend takeaways:

Khabib is still the scariest LW in the UFC...grappling on another level.

Glover vs Gus would be fight I'd like to see booked.

John Dodson is gonna be scary at 135, dropped dude with half stretched punches thrown.

Rose and Tecia are both legit prospects but I have a hard time picturing either taking out Gadelha or JJ currently. Would love for Rose v Waterson to happen before a title fight.

Cub isn't finished, but will prolly be a gatekeeper. I'd love for him to fight Jeremy Stephens soon.

Raquel forced a split decision with Holm and beat Correia in an entertaining one...I just wanna watch her fight another great striker tbh, put Jessica Eye up next for my own selfish reasons.

Kos is waaaaay worse than he was at the time, and has become more stand-up based since the last fight.

Daley is gonna hit him with a sweet uppercut which will actually be legal this time.

I agree that Kos really hasn't been the same since GSP destroyed his orbital and I haven't caught his last couple of fights. That being said, Daley's TDD(while improved) is still just OK at best and Kos is still a world class wrestler. He should still be able to wrestlefukk Semtex to a decision, sadly

Seeing that vid and hearing Dana say rashad should retire is just a reminder how cut throat the game can be when you are on the decline and the brass never liked you in the first place. Yeah he's lost a step and he's never been got like that however he really shouldn't have been facing Glover just yet. The moment shogun pulled out they should have got him another vet with miles or scrapped the fight altogether, dude saved the card by taking a fight that was a stylistic nightmare. He's obviously on good money and when you factor the fact he's never really been a big draw it's :francis:
I wouldn't say that.....Dana pretty much forced Liddell to retire when he started taking them L's and that's his boy. I'd say Dana was trying to look out for Rashad's well being with that, along with the general concensus being that he should probably hang em up at this point. A friend of mine who is a major Rashad fan pretty much said the same thing. At this point he really doesn't have much else to prove, but also he's not gonna see that title. MMA isn't exactly a sport you wanna be doing well into your 40's and shyt because it takes a toll, especially KO losses and along with that, L's also blemish your career and legacy along with lowering your stock. MMA is a young man's game, there's no shame in knowing when to step aside and let the newer generation of fighters do their thing. You don't wanna be like say....Ken Shamrock and end up making a fool out of yourself. Rashad should probably take at least one more fight that favors him stylistically so he can end his career on a high note.

Come on breh, after being known for have an iron chin Liddell was getting violently ko'd left right and centre the one by rashad in particular could be heard around the world and that was what? 2 fights removed from what rampage did? Dude was sleeping in interviews and talking punch drunk, as the poster boy for the company it was in zuffas best interest to retire him or they'd look negligent. And even that could have been more swift than it was but they secretly were ok with squeezing every last dime out of him.

With rashad it seems personal like "you had a nice run buddy but you are damaged goods now, so just go home", I mean when has he been KO'd clean like that even with machida it was punches in bunches. And lastly he didn't exactly lose to a spring chicken Glover is around the same age but you wouldn't notice it due to the erosion of the division and the fact he's only been in the ufc 4 years

Breh, if the company really had a problem with Rashad, they would let him keep fighting and feed him to young up and comers so he can keep taking L's to boost their careers off his name. Let's not act like they're above doing that shyt. He just got ktfo first round by Glover and took a decision L from Ryan fukking Bader. Its about time to retire for sure :francis:

If he can't find/fix what he has lost... He should retire Rashad shouldn't be fighting. He's only hope is if and when DC and Jones moves up maybe just maybe he will have a chance. But he's old too

I think Rashad has another fight or two in him. Feed him a couple of bottom dwellers to bring him back up and see if he's still got the juice. Def keep him away from anyone near top 10 lol
Could he beat the barista?

Not with people like Latifi, Gus, Rumble and St. Poo around. Breh will likely get flattened by any of em.

shyt I'm not even sure if he could beat Gian Villante or Corey Anderson :francis:
Perhaps Igor Prokafkjas;dkhk or Jan Blachoaskfdjnas? (I can't be bothered spelling these Eastern Bloc mofukka's names:yeshrug:)
