u got a division where a champ doesnt fight in over a year.Then when they have an interim champ hes put on hiatus too for like 8 months.But the mw div needs to appoint an interim champion immediately just cuz anderson is intimating he wants time off?

Anderson has a contract tho, he shouldnt be able to just take time off, IMO...he has I think 1 fight left under his deal..do that fight( dont care if its a MW title match or GSP/Jones) then take a break...he could easily fight in march/april/may then take a year off..im just opposed to champions who turn down money fights for the company that made them millionaires..

Yea I know that hes the goat fighter and all but if u have an obligation to the company that has made you everything u are and they say we want you to fight (fill in the blank) and still owe said company via contract that fight,then you should fulfill your obligation when asked...just my opinion

dude didnt have to jump weight class to face stephen or the sandman those were solids he did for the company.All hes ever done is win and be exciting in doing so with very little of the zuffa machine behind him..He has more than earned the riight to do whatever

Yea i understand that, again hes the goat, id never take anything away from him...he saved that ppv taking the fight against bonner....i just a think if if u have a contract to the company he owes the company (cause he did sign the contract) that if they want him to fight, he should thats all. Plus i really want him to fight gsp or jones, as a fan of the sport

As long as he abides by his contract I say let the man do what he wants
I'm sure his contract includes a time frame in which he must compete in.

Honestly though with Anderson you got to take what he says with a grain of salt. I think he just likes to MMA journalists who act more like fanboys than reporters
