I don't think this is going to be the great fight that we thought it was going to be.

I do hope BJ Penn calls it a day, it's not lack of skill, it's that lack of hunger/desire at this point. I watched that fight not at all thinking he had a chance, I watched just hoping he didn't lose by stoppage. That's sad.

I was bad luck for just about everyone I rooted for last night except Yves Edwards

my boy LeVesseur eating those vicious knees to the body was hard to watch, I was literally doing the :damn: impression while it was happening.

UFC has to be praying Pettis gets past Cerrone, if not I can't see them giving Cerrone a shot against Bendo when he already has two losses to him and would only be on a 3 fight win streak.

There was talk this week that Showtime still wants Gilbert Melendez and Luke Rockhold to have a last fight to fulfill their contracts so that may take Gilbert out of contention although I haven't seen any reputable sources backing this up

Only other possible opponent I could see is if UFC signs Eddie Alvarez.

Lightweight division has a lot of depth but not really any clear cut top contenders and the veterans in the division are so proficient that it's hard to establish a meaningful win streak and a lot of young contenders get stifled and have to slowly build their way up

It's looking like Dan Henderson might still not be ready and Gustaffson could step in against Machida
