Pettis struggles against any pressure fighting let alone the best pressure fighter in MMA. He's not ranked as high as Al who is on the best winning streak of the available fighters too. Just seems like a name value play more than anything.

This is a terrible matchup for Pettis, he gets mauled.

Holloway dodged a bullet. He was coming off an injury and on very short notice. Khabib would've given him the work.

This main event went from with Khabib/Ferguson to with Holloway/Khabib to now with Pettis stepping in.
