Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has confirmed that he will be at UFC 244 and is teasing an announcement for UFC and MMA fans. Johnson appeared in an Instagram Live video (per ESPN) with Dana White and confirmed that he will present the BMF title to the winner of the Jorge Masvidal vs. Nate Diaz fight.

“This addition to the company and the brand and to the sport, this BMF belt, I think it’s brilliant,” Johnson said. “It’s so smart and it’s just fun, man … That place is gonna be rocking, it’s gonna be electrifying. I can’t wait to get in there, man.”

He added that he will make an announcement at Friday’s press conference of “something I wanted to tell the UFC fans and MMA community first”

Romero is a dangerous fight for Israel IMO. Yoel is very explosive and athletic, Izzy would still be the favorite but as they say styles make fights. Another dominant win after Whittaker over Romero would be great on his resume. Cannonier makes more sense since he’s on a winning streak. Costa wouldn’t be ready until mid summer at the earliest.
