Sad part is Fitch gonna want top draw money for fightin a simpson or harris. Dats str8 up free on facebook status fights.
there is no hidden incentives with WSOF.Whatever he agreed on in the contract is what he'll be getting. And by how he sounds on the subject its obviously not a lot but then again i dont think he was sought after. There are only really 2 shows in town and i am being kind with bellator cuz while they might be owned by this big conglomerate like viacom, how much of that money is actually going into belllator which isnt making money?

ps speaking of bellator a telling sign that they aint really about that business is their reach or lack there of.Look at their site, whether they are on espn deportes, foxsports, mtv2 or spike the problem remains the same and ppl outside the states cant view their shyt.Do they even have tv deals with uk/australia/canada? and how long have they been in operation? :why:

Mo getting faded out by a black mosh pitter doesn't help either. The best thing that could've happened for Bellator was Mo running through the comp. and Rampage beating Glover and leaving for Bellator. Even though they made up, that fight would've been kinda intriguing. Bellator does always put on a good show(the Mpumbu M.E. was horrible, though). The ratings have gotta be decent. As decent as a start-up MMA promotion that comes on @ 10 PM on a Thursday night can be :yeshrug:

The show where Mawal made his debut (which was bellators. 2nd week) was down from the season premiere week. Read into what u may about the mawal acquisition. It also doesn't help that homegrown talent like sandro and warren stink it up when the lights are shining these days. The injuries that are starting to wreck title fights. Pitbull bros fall from grace. Coupled with bjorn own reluctance to get ppl overseas to view his product. They've been operating since 09, how long is the "start up" excuse going to be used for simply restricting international fight fans (who don't have spike) from viewing the product?

Ps remember when bellator had chick fights? :why: seems after they did gurgel (or some latina) dirty they discontinued, that's on them

Im in Tdot and yeah Bellator has always had a tv deal. They show on Spike TV right now, and from ppl i've been talking to ppl have been checking it out. When UFC was on Spike TV, Bellator use to show on The Score. Also they've done a few shows outside Toronto at Casino Rama. Shoot the strikeforce challenger series use to get reg tv play up here. IFL had a strong tv deal. I dunno, I guess maybe thats why Dana always says fans in Canada go ham on mma, we've always had access to alot of diff mma shows on local tv.

Why doesn't the UFC just hire him a handler? Not even full-time just for the last 2 weeks of a fight. The kid is disorganized as all hell. Just have a handler to be his assistant and help him out with scheduling and follow him around to make sure he makes it to all the stuff. The UFC can afford a handler for 1-2 weeks. That's what organizers of concerts do. A handler picks their celebrity up at the airport, takes them everywhere they need to go. Calls ahead to set things up, bring them food, everything they need. Nick should see it as a big bonus to have such an assistant.

Cesar said they told Dana in advance that Nick wanted to reschedule the Open workout because the flight and weight cut was causing him problems so he wanted to rest. I think he just got into Canada yesterday or something like that. Dana went on the radio and said he didn't know...just doing what he always does

I don't think Nick has done anything wrong..he asked to reschedule the open workout. He didn't say he wasn't going to do it. I think he has been pretty good at carrying out all his media obligations for this fight

I'm sure he isn't the first fighter to miss an open workout

But that's like Tom Brady asking to reschedule the Super Bowl media day. Those workouts happen once, they don't do one offs. I saw Rashad spar for like 8 minutes and he was done and did interviews. I don't know the full extent of Nick feeling bad but those workouts don't require much effort.
