Works both ways, at 155lb the guys he's facing don't got more pop than the bigger 170 fighters.
At 155lb he flattens gaethe, jus like eddie. Gaethe didn't pose ne takedown risk so conor cn focus solely on the striking, which is his strength.
Styles makes fight and khabib goes rite thru gaethe worse than Poirier fight. Tony Ferguson still is da best styles wise and match up wise to beat khabib

He dropped Poirier and Eddie both pretty quickly (and repeatedly in Eddie's case). Got multiple KD's on Nate at 170 as well. All three have great chins and only Dustin has the weight class excuse. His power isn't really the question so much as whether he can find Gaethje's chin before leg kicks sap it.

Kicking a kid while he's down who is green to the sport and took the fight on five days notice is lame in and of itself. But that ish gets even more lame when you consider that the second Paul Felder played along and talked trash back, Hooker got offended. He runs his mouth too damned much, especially when anyone with fight pass can watch Edson Barboza take away his damned soul and beat him fetal.
Gaethje showed improved patience against Tony. He got in trouble with Dustin and Eddie because he went toe to toe. Eddie’s always been chinny, and Cowboy has been shot for awhile.

Yeah, Gaethje's been really mindful about his defense and it completely changes how big a threat he is. My favorite part about that performance against Ferguson is that it felt like everything built off a basic L-step. I love when discipline and fundamentals show heavy at elite levels.

It's easy to show patience against Tony. Tony isn't da striker Connor is not poirer. And to tell the truth I jus saw Justin standing in middle and banging and Tony with a weaker stand up game absorbing shots.
The real problem is look at the flip side, u had a game Tony basically just walking into Justin's shots. No real take down attempts to big kicks, didn't try any clinch work. Just stand walk into fist reset walk into fist reset. Do u think khabib or cknor are going to be that basic wit their games and strategies?
I'm afraid khabib gonna duck under take em down and it'll be over before it starts jus like the rest. I don't see Justin doin nething from bottom on khabib.
Funny thing is the best type of guy to face a khabib is sum1 with a strong bottom game bjj it wld be interesting. Even Al if had a full camp I'd rather watch vs khabib again than Justin.
Gaethje's has shown patience and a different approach in every fight since the Poirier L, you haven't been paying attention. And he wasn't just standing in the middle and banging against Ferg.

Why wld you throw leg kicks vs a wrestler. Mma 101 you don't kick when u tryin to avoid the take down.
This is my point exactly Justin never been in the ring vs a top wrestler in mma and won. His whole gm wld be reduced to a punchers chance at best.
