i know no ones gonna buy this ppv but I can't wait to see Barao take out the golden boy Faber
Faber aint no golden boy in 2012 brah.In fact i'm almost tempted to say he was actually more popular in WEC.No one wants to admit it but the lighter weightclasses just hasnt really caught on with ufc fans at all
BJ is gonna get worked by Rory. Dumb fight for him to take.
2 reasons, the hate for gsp is too strong. And dana most definitely paid him handsomely to get him out of retirement.

I hope Brock Lesnar comes back to the UFC.

 Not if he keeps training the same. Dude gonna be the white Bob Sapp if he comes back without extensive stand-up training.

I mean don't get me wrong...I don't expect K-1 Lesnar, we all know the wrestle game is his greatest strength...he just needs to train his striking to be able to hold his own long enough to get the takedown on dudes rather than curl up in a ball.

Stephie Daniels: What about a case like Chael Sonnen's, where he has stated that hypogonadism is the root of his need for a TUE?

Dr. Benjamin: Was Chael Sonnen a big time collegiate wrestler? Yes he was. I'm going to opine and say to you, there's no way in the world you get to the level of collegiate wrestling that Chael Sonnen was at, with hypogonadism. Let me explain to you why. Hypogonadism means that the testes did not produce enough testosterone for one to normally mature. He wasn't on TRT as a teenager. He became this big, muscled up monster and NCAA wrestler with hypogonadism? Hell no.

Great point. Why is Dana mad at the commission?

On the post-fight show for Mighty-Mouse/McCall, Dana said his meeting w/ Lesnar was the worst meeting he's ever had with Lesnar....lol, I wonder what that was all about.

And GSP/Condit and Kampmann/Hendricks are expected for UFC 154 in Montreal on Nov. 17th....gotta feeling this won't pan out.

Due to Chael's comments on brazillians

Isn't the only reason Silva took the fight was because it would be held in Brazil? I hope Silva pulls a Maia in this and causes White to have a total meltdown

yeah ufc knew he would never take the fight unless so they threw that caveat in there. And as soon as the ink dried they were on some "we couldn't get a venue in time" BS.If they were genuinely having struggles they must've known that from the jump but to pretend that they were totally blindsided is just :rudy: I only hope anderson benefited monetary wise

So I guess the Dos Santos/Velaquez fight is off

The UFC Heavyweight Championship rematch between Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez may not be coming this September as Dana White stated last week. According to one of dos Santos' coaches, Velasquez will be out of action longer than initially expected.

"The fight is with Velasquez, but no definite date," coach Yuri Carlton said in an interview with Tatame.com (translated by Fighter's Only). "It was speculated for September, but that is unreal. Velasquez is also with a broken hand, its not resolved, so I think the UFC will wait a little longer."

The September date was predicated on Velasquez being cleared for that quick of a return, but his hand may be worse than what they had hoped. He injured the hand in his first round decimation of Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva last month at UFC 146. If the bout is pushed back to November, the rematch will come around one year after their first bout, which dos Santos won by knockout in the UFC's debut on Fox.

Penick's Analysis: It's disappointing, but not unexpected that this fight is being moved back. Velasquez's hand was known to be possibly injured after the event, but they were hoping it wasn't bad enough to delay the rematch that long. Unfortunately, that appears to be the case. Still, the fight will happen, just a couple months later than they'd like.

LOL@these guys like :shaq: now that the UFC is covering all the cost of injuries during training
