If Jones continues to train and grow and not get complacent or distracted in his journey, then true indeed he may reign in his class for quite a long time.

Given his build, length, and range, one would find it hard to imagine any current fighter in his class beating him. Anderson Silva is probably the fighter who'd give him the most fits, if not beat him, but if that fight doesn't happen soon Silva will be too far past his prime to be of any measurable competition for Jones anymore anyway..will be interesting the day when/if the fighter comes along and beats Jones. Until then, his dominance in that weight class will reign until father time steps into the octagon.

Anybody can get caught KO or sub, ViTRTor was right there.
That said Jones seems to use the same strategy that GSP does but Jones attacks for the finish more aggressively.

Spong spoiler from glory
Damn that was dope. Spong along with Gokhan Saki are my fav kickboxers. I woulds love to see Spong v Saki 2. that would be dope. Spong got a lil cocky and got caught by Dutt who has a heavy hand. But that big right cross from spong was

Yeah. Spong and Saki are my favorites by far. It's not even close. I'm not much of a Ghita fan but I like him. He had a good win at Glory as well.
I'm not sure if people know but Spong fought 3 times that night (yes MMA in NY is illegal but fighting kickboxing tournaments isn't
) Spong won the first with that KO. A decision in the 2nd and got a very early stoppage in the 3rd. The 3rd was a very bad stoppage imo. Spong hit the guy like twice and the ref stopped it on the feet.
I just can't wait for him to go to WSOF 4 and get back to MMA.

yeah I like those one nght tournaments.. Its not just skill but of endurance and willpower. That was an awful stoppage. Illunga (who I think is overrated) was blocking all those shots. Ok most of them but he sure was still on his feet. Ghita is also a lil overrated. He has a lot of nuthuggers on sherdog though lol
