It's like he wants a difficult cut. :lupe: Dude was clearly too big for 170, he walked around like 215 back then. You'd think he'd just chill at that weight or at least keep to 225 or less since he's a LHW now.

There is a pic of him passed out after a weight cut...this can't be too good for his health

Some UFC releases according to the UG

Heavyweight Dave Herman,
Light Heavyweights Vinny Magalhães and Ednaldo Oliveria,
Welterweight Bristol Marunde
Lightweight John Maguire

Looks like Vinny deleted his twitter too

Interesting tidbit at the end of the Dana White scrum vid: Ben Askren's Bellator deal is up and the UFC will talk to him, Dana did say he'd probably have to change his style a little

Missed that Machida v Davis fight, and I'm shocked at the results. How did it go down?

It was a relatively close fight, but the winner was clearly Machida. He took 2 rounds, while 1 of the rounds was a toss-up. Machida landed the harder shots, while Davis landed more shots. Machida also did a great job of neutralizing Davis's ground game, although he did get taken down a few times. He also did a great job of controlling the centre of the octagon. However, looking back, Machida should've been more active on the feet because Davis had nothing for him in the striking department. Overall, the fight should've gone to Machida, the judges felt differently. I don't know how though, pretty much every media source, MMA reporter and over 85% of the fans felt Machida won.

@meelad92 Ahh yeah that makes sense, because Davis hasn't really impressed me to that extent to where I feel he can beat a champion level contender like Machida.

Dana said in the post fight media scrum that hall is not mentally a fighter. He probably has one more fight before getting cut. Same with overeem

U are comparimg two competitive fights with a clear robbery. :mindblown:Everyone in the mma community knows this including Davis which is why he is refusing a rematch
hes refusing the rematch because he has nothing to gain, its just common sense

Nothing to gain? Why? Hes not in line for a title shot anytime soon. He record may say W but everyone including Silva/Dana will view that fight as a loss. Why not fight Machida again to prove them wrong? Who else is left since all the top contenders are busy? A washed Shogun or Hendo? Evans who already outclassed him? He needs vindication
