Mir vs Reem. What a crazy ass match up. I guess whoever is not sucking wind after the first two minutes will win

This. The Reem is one of the most devastating fighters in the clinch, while Mir is absolutely terrible in the clinch.

It's pretty funny that the Reem has been given such favourable match-ups [Browne, Big Foot, Mir], but dude still manages to find a way to lose.

Yep, his history will keep him around. . I just can't see Mir getting cut if gets stopped in brutal fashion again. . he'll get "retired" like Chuck/ Matt Hughes etc.


Although given Reem's tendency to lose gimme's he might fukk around and end up in a submission somehow

Dana's history is Mir is from vegas and is white, and can cut a good promo when needed.

even if mir gets cut he aint about to take a commentating gig any time soon. Florian is their guy and comes off as a brown noser. And then there is stann who just seems to have been handed a spot outta nowhere. Don't know where all this talk of dana and mir bein tight comes from. Yeah mir has tenure and they have a business relationship but he aint one of dana's guys like that. Surely not to the extent he'll have a job with the company ala hughes/liddell

Mir is most definitely one of Dana's guys. I think they get Florian isn't the guy for commentating. Hopefully they'll phase him out and replace him with Mir. Either way Mir will be fine.

Mir won't be paid to do nothing like Hughes and Liddell, but you'll def. be seeing him on the Fox Sports table as an analyst.

^^I remember hearing Jordan Breen say that Mir is Joe Silva's favorite fighter so I see the UFC taking care of him after he retires. I really liked his commentary in the WEC and the UFC does so many shows, I hope he goes back to that.

Stann is doing college football so he will at least be tied up through December.
