listening again now"I heard about this kid Patrick Cummins before," UFC president Dana White told MMAFighting.com. "The thing that's interesting about this kid is that he was the training partner of Daniel Cormier and claims that he made Cormier cry when they would train together. Not only did he say that, he said he broke him every time, and he said he would break him again next Saturday."
Cummins (4-0) is considered one of the brightest light-heavyweight prospects in MMA. The former Penn State University two-time All-American and national champion runner-up has finished all of his opponents in the first round. His manager, Ryan Parsons, claims over 50 light heavyweights have turned down fights against him since he went pro in Dec. 2012. He currently trains at the Reign Training Center with the likes of Mark Munoz and Chael Sonnen.
Cummins had been campaigning for the opportunity on Twitter from the moment news of Evans' knee injury broke.
"There's a lot of pressure that comes with trying to win a gold medal," Cormier told MMAFighting.com, "something that Pat wouldn't understand since he was only a training partner to me and Kerry McCoy. He wasn't the guy. I appreciate him stepping up and taking the fight, but we're going to see who's going to be crying after we fight next Saturday night."
err whats wrong with your reading, ufc 91 seemed like a boxing card on paper but turned out to be event on the year worthy. So what this event looks like on paper is irrelevantPlease tell me you arent insinuating what i think you are. And there was nothing wrong with 91

lol at this dude, a boxing card is basically 1 maybe 2 headlining matches surrounded by prelims thats basically what ufc 91 wasUFC 91 had Brock vs Coutoure and a LW title eliminator on paper. What the fukk are you talking about? If you are going to make terrible comparison to this card, at least go with 149, 122, or 119

easy to say that now but that card took place in 08 when most of those guys were noobs to fairweathersNaw. UFC had decent fights/names on it throughout the main card. This card is absolutely abysmal on paper

Gabriel Gonzaga was a noob. Quarry was a noob? Hazelett was a noob. These were guys who fought for the title before on the undercard.no alvin robindson, dustin hazlett, bocek, mcorry riley were and while gonzaga/quarry were recognizable names they were in inconsequential matchesGabriel Gonzaga was a noob. We are you talking about ppl on the Prelims? I am talking about the main card. Maia was an up and comer with solid sub wins vs a vet in Quarry. Gonzaga faced a can but
it was appropiate on the card position. Hazelett was a solid fighter before Semtex snatched his soul Kenflo/Joe daddy and Brock/Randy were worth the purchaseSO the Sonnen/Wandy fight so taking place in Brazil
man i hope UFC got that FBI security on deck
