Yeah he's gonna have a rough go being explosive like he's used to being at what will be 33 before he can return most likely and on two reconstructed knees.

Bad news regardless of how you feel about the guy

Yeah, he was still on it for that fight. Thats the last time you'll see anyone on it legally in the ufc
:usure: brazil dont have a problem with fighters on TRT, i thought it was only a vegas thing. belfort should just gone head and retire if they ban it outright. U sure chael aint gonna be on it when he fights wandy? its in brazil.

I just saw that shyt about GSP. He'll probably try to come back but with his age and knees I'd have to imagine that's a wrap on the old GSP. It's Shogun territory now if he comes back.

LAS VEGAS – Renan Barao, the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s bantamweight champion, will be the new headliner for the May 24 UFC 173 card, replacing injured Chris Weidman, USA TODAY Sports has learned.

UFC President Dana White confirmed Thursday that Barao (32-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) will face Team Alpha Male contender T.J. Dillashaw (9-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) in the main event at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.

I'm surprised Dillashaw got the title shot over Assuncao. Dillashaw has developed very nicely since losing in the finale of TUF, especially his striking. He looked great in his victory over Mike Easton, having said that he doesn't want it with Barao yet.

I think Assuncao is nursing an injury. I thought I'd read that somewhere

I used to train at the same gym as Assuncao. Him and his brother had a reputation for being rough onsparring partners, mainly his brother Junior
