Brown vs winner of Lawler/Ellenberger or Woodley
Woodley is facing mcdonald and even if he wasnt he just beat condit.Facing brown is step backward where he gains nothing status wise
Streets needs Brown vs Lombard or Brown vs Diaz. Hell Brown vs anyone will do
nick diaz is done wish the mma community would just let it go..Not a fan of brown/lombard for the simple fact I wouldnt know who to root for + lombard beat shields & is due for a shot (all things being fair) u folks seem to be suffering from prisoner of the moment syndrome.Brown is serviceable but really just a jobber to the elite :pachaha:

Brown is tough as hell man. I was rooting against him big time but you can't front on the grit that dude showed out there, those are the worst kind of folks to fight, you have to knock them unconscious or break a limb to get them outta there. That body shot was grizzly sounding.

They really need to get Erick Silva to a different camp or something, might be too late tho given that he's already 29 and has set ways. Maybe I refuse to believe dude is just sizzle no steak.

Nah I am willing to finally admit that hes just not that good and never will be. I have seen enough in his last 3 losses to get a read on him. And lets think about it for a sec who has he actually really beaten? some asian jobber flown in, charlie breneman and jason motherfukin high..Come on this dude was a project thats been exposed we just assumed he was this and that cuz of his ethnicity

Thoughts on the card:

- Nova Uniao pulls through once again, Johnny Eduardo is an animal. He's up there in age (35), but it will still be interesting to see how far he gets in the division.
- Soa's power from GnP in the mount is scary. He makes it look easy too.
- Cruikshank really impressed me. I though Koch had that one in the bag, but Cruikshank had other ideas. Early candidate for KOTY.
- Philippou/Larkin came to stand and trade. :whew: Philippou has a chin on him, Larkin landed some strong shots and dude was walking through them.
- Brown/Silva had FOTY written all over it, and it definitely delivered. Both fighters showed tons of heart and determination. Brown needs a top 10 opponent, like others have mentioned, Lombard and Diaz would both be great options.

Overall, a great night of fights and upsets.

Sooner or later Nick is going to need a paycheck. He's going to be back.
if you say so but retiring on the grounds of displeasure (over the fact you can "now" point fight to win) doesn't exactly embolden your theory

I think he should get the title shot. At first I was against it and i thought Silva was going to win but after the fight, i find myself saying fukk it. Why not?

Nobody else in the division has any type of streak going and they've all recently lost. Most are still in the top 10 just because they were already there before the lost. There's no clear winner. People like him and with Johny having that layoff it's the perfect fun fight to bring him back and sell some PPV's. There was already one good fight in the post GSP WW division so just give him the shot. Let them throw hands and have a good time. Nobody else deserves it really.

The only fight i would make if he doesn't get the shot is Brown VS DIaz.

A title shot? really breh? no way..I just seen brown move up in the rankings to 6 dropping hector lombard down..Which is crazy Jake sheilds and Nate marquart are way better fighters then erik silva. Brown needs some one top level before getting a shot. This aint WWE just getting a title shot just because..you got earn it not just pass fighters who earned their spot because you had a fun lil fight with a C level dude.

Ellenberger is at 5 and he's 2 and 2 lately. He had one of the worst fights ever with Rory and got knocked out cold in his other. Tyron has won two in a row. One against Kos who has lost 3 and the other against Condit after a leg injury. Lawler got his show after three wins. 2 were Kos and Bobby Voelker.

It's not like anyone did some crazy shyt to earn those spots. Stun Gun has done more than a lot of those guys but he doesn't get moved up because he's not friends with the media that votes and isn't from a country with a lot of voting members like the other guys.

Winning 7 fights in a row is hard as fukk. and he's FINISHED 6 of 7. That's pretty crazy. Plus Thomson, Mein, Pyle, and Silva are legit fighters.

The only person that i think would deserve the shot more would be Rory with a good win.
