Looks like Tim Sylvia gets the pleasure of getting the brakes beaten off of him by Daniel Cormier next.

:heh:

I thought this was a joke at first, but it's true. Cormier's got nothing to gain by knocking out Tim Sylvia, I can't believe this fight is actually happening. Tim Sylvia? Really? Wow.

What do you guys think about Cormier dropping down to 205 if Cain gets the belt back?

Cain will never get the belt back. But I think Cormier would be a beast at 205

^Cormier can't make 205. The dude suffered Kidney Failure trying to make weight during the Olympics if I remember correctly. I think the dude is fine at heavyweight and his speed in that division really shines and easily has the best wrestling at heavyweight. I would love to see a Bones and Cormier fight at Heavyweight. That would be :ooh:

If there's anyone in the HW who can beat JDS, it's Cain. When they fought last year, Cain was suffering from ring rust. I'm not saying Cain would definitely win a rematch, but it'd be closer than a lot of people suspect.

I agree, there's too much time in a 5 round fight for Junior to put hands on Cain.

As dude said earlier, it's not gonna be as easy the next time...trust. Cain was definitely rusty, and played JDS' game off jump, getting caught directly on the button as a result. Next time he'll fight smarter, and he could very well pull off the W because stylistically Cain is the biggest threat to JDS' belt aside from Overeem. I'd like to see what JDS would do from his back because I don't think his ground game's been tested like that....I think if Cain got him down he'd have problems, but who knows.

I think Cain will have a much better game plan and won't be as timid as he was the first time.. If he takes him to the ground he will have a much better shot. We still dont know how JDS is on the bottom.

he did try getting Junior down once and Junior sprawled. i think he can get it down briefly if he puts everything into it, i just dont see him as being on Juniors level. i didnt before they fought, then junior kinda proved that. and cain is still fragile, still sitting out..

They are in the same camp, Dantas fights at 135 though. It might be more of an issue with Barao as they fight in the same weight class.
