And looking back, Condit deserved that win. I just re-watched the fight, 1st round was super close. Stand-up was even, Rory got like 3 TDs, but did nothing on top (very little gnp, no passes, no sub attempts), while Condit was landing gnp from the bottom, throwing up a few subs and even got a nice sweep. 2nd round was Rory, but again it was close. Rory got 2 TDs but did minimal damage on top. 3rd round was a beatdown, although Rory had a nice small flurry in the beginning. After that it was all Condit, Rory was just trying his best to survive. If the fight went the distance, I would have it a draw and if you were to score the fight in it's entirety (and not by round), Condit would've won. Overall, Rory definitely did not tool Condit and it was def. not a flukey victory.

What do you mean? The ones I mentioned are solid fighters. They've done very well when you consider the fact that the Dagestani people make up around (just) 2% of Russia's population.
did I say they were scrubs? I said the only 1 that gets talked about now is khabib & ppl were way too quick to talk of a takeover
Khabib is undefeated in MMA, 6-0 in the UFC (with wins over dos Anjos, Tibau, etc.) and with a win over Cerrone would be more than deserving of a title shot. If he beats Cerrone, who would be more deserving of title shot than Khabib?
Pointless question considering the division is on pause till dec..If khabib beats cerrone he should face the winner of bendo/ dos anjos while the division clears up. If melendez wins the title its a best case scenario for everyone. If pettis wins and bendo somehow emerges from those 2 fights :patrice: you fitch him until the division gets a number 1 contender
About to get the biggest fight of your career and blow out your knee 30 minutes later :lupe: WTF! If anything happens to either rematch coming up Dana will lose his shyt.
aint this the same dude that was reported as retiring from mma due to religious reasons? has he even fought since that news broke? :mjpls:

Nobody said anything about a takeover. The general consensus was that the Russians/Dagestanis have a good stable of fighters.

You said that 'Khabib is getting a title fight for just beating Cerrone' which is false.

That was Adlan Amagov, not Khabib.
