Agreed about Anki and Florian. I hate them. I don't like anything they say. Anything is better. Right now i like Hardy, the English dude, and Stann. I always had no prob with Goldberg either.

Florian is prolly 1 of the worst analyst live, and Anik sometimes jus sounds like he has no idea what to say. I dunno why but why won't they let Frank Mir call some fights, he had a great voice and was just spot on.

i dunno why people bytch about joe rogan so much. he's a fan of the sport, first and foremost. he's ALWAYS been that. it's just that he's got the best seats in the house and a mic in his face at every event...and he'll have that job for as long as he wants cuz he got in early with the ufc, before they got big. and he's certainly not the only biased guy out there. if florian or stann or whoever were calling as many fights as joe, it'd be more obvious i guess cuz they definitely have their preferences.

i'd say the most fair and balanced guys are frank mir and dan hardy and they rarely call fights. dan hardy kind of sucks to be honest, he's boring and he doesn't really explain much outside of the obvious. frank mir was the best commentator by far, i think. i don't know why he's gone ghost. he was awesome in wec. he was interesting and insightful and great at describing what was going on in the fight and why...you could tell he was analyzing stuff as a fighter and was articulate enough to walk the audience through his viewpoint. he seems like a guy that could be a great coach. it's weird that mir's so good at looking at fights from the outside in but he's made so many stupid choices when he's actually in there fighting though.

To add on to your point about Joe Rogan having the job for life basically. I remember in a special or interview Dana was asked about Joe Rogan, and Dana sd when they first bought the UFC Joe Rogan worked for free for many ufc ppv's. Even after they started picking up ppv's and had sum huge ppv fights and stuff, Joe would work for free and help do whatever Dana and the Fertitas (sp) needed. you gotta respect a guy for that, no matter how good or bad you may think he is at commentating.
