As far as future opponents, Nick has stated that he would like to take fights “that matter”. Since GSP will be fighting Condit, he has to look elsewhere. He will respectfully ask for a fight with Anderson Silva, a fighter he respects and would like to challenge.

Silva’s camp has been speaking of a fight with GSP, possibly even at a catch weight. Nick will take that fight in a minute but has told me that should Silva decide not to drop at all, he will move up to 185lbs to face the Champ.

If he gets destroyed by Silva, which I think he would, he jeopardizes his marketability and his chances to fight GSP. Huge risk on Diaz's part, though he'll still get a nice payday against Silva if it happens.

diaz and his titanium chin would be pieced to death by silva.. would want to see just to measure both their chin cardio and boxing against each other..

mad at jon jones for coming along so soon.. other than him i would love to see silva make a run through the lhw division to see all those match ups

If you are a true MMA head, a 13-fight all women's card starts @7pm (eastern) tonight, Invicta FC 2. The 1st one in the spring had some damn good fights, and this should be no different.

Check them out here: Invicta FC

another great card from invicta just a shame I couldn't see it live. Its going to be a sad day when they decide to close up shop cuz it was a real progressive venture

ps I wonder if tate and kaufman would be allowed to fight there if they accumulated moore Ls

I was able to see the first show live, but couldn't make it to this one. There stream on the website worked well for me.

I didn't get a chance to see the whole thing, but I saw like the last 4 fights. McMann/Blaser was a good main event. The way it ended I wish it would have been 5 rds. I could possibly see Kaufman/Tate fighting there down the road. Not sure what their contract situation is like.

Eddie Alvarez-Patricky Pitbull on Oct. 12th in Eddie's last fight on his contract.....

And Dana confirmed on a conference call that the winner of Rua-Vera is getting the winner of Jones-Hendo :wtb:
