Machida/Jones was competitive for a single round. After that, it was a one-sided fight. Machida matches up pretty well with Jones, Anderson does not. The areas where Silva is at a significant disadvantage against Jones (wrestling & strength), Machida does well in.

Okami, Sonnen, Hendo, Bonnar all bigger or stronger then Silva and he did well. Not on the level of Jones, but lets not act like Silva is some pushover against wrestler. I said Jones would beat Silva, but to say he would be decimated is a stretch. Difference between Jones/Weidman is Silva didn't take the latter seriously, which he definitely would against Jones. That first fight still could have been won by Silva. Weidman was gassed in the second round and Silva could have taken advantage of that instead of bullshytting

The difference in size between GSP/Silva is greater then Jones/Silva.

The difference would be minimal. Going by weight, GSP on fight night was around 190, Silva around 205 and Jones around 220-225.

Jones is easily more skilled and bigger/stronger than every fighter you named. And Hendo was not bigger than Anderson. I never said he was a pushover, Anderson has good wrestling defense.

Jones would take down and pound out Silva 8/10 times. Sure, Silva could definitely catch and finish Jones, but odds are clearly not in his favor imo.

Anderson took Weidman very seriously in the second fight and before the injury, was on the losing end of a very one-sided fight. Even with the bullshyting aside, (from memory) Anderson was clearly losing that first fight. Although, I do agree that he gave that KO to Weidman on a silver platter.

Silva is not only taller but has lankier, bigger legs. GSP will have a hard time getting him down unlike Jones. During their reigns, GSP would have struggled against the top guys at 185 where Silva beats everyone outside Jones

I always wondered how Jones would've done against Silva on the feet.

The gap between their striking is smaller than the gap between their wrestling/strength. So it would be interesting to see them stand and strike. Even with Jones' reach/discipline/effectiveness, Silva would hold an advantage in the stand-up.

I still believe that GSP would have a good chance of taking Anderson down. Would he win though? Doubt it. I see Silva KOing him.

Disagree at the bolded. Their success in the division above would be about the same imo. LHW was pretty easily a better division than MW, so it would be harder for Anderson.

Naw. I can easily see GSP struggling against a big MW like Okami or Sonnen and a power hitter like Belfot. Silva could easily dispatch Shogun, Rampage, Evans. He would only have problems with Jones and possibly Machida
