Im still trying to figure out how that whole situation is going to play out.

Kuminga wants the PO, so they can't just up and trade him anywhere and is willing to take the Qualifying Offer to become unrestricted in next year's free agency.

The Warriors are split with what they want to do with him with Kerr wanting to trade him and the owner wanting to keep him.

They offered him like 25 mil a year, but with a team option which means he's gone pretty much to wherever GSW wants to send him.

To any of the GSW brehs on here, what would be a realistic scenario for y'all that accommodates both him and GSW?
It's really going to be fascinating to watch. Golden State likely looks for any opportunity to suppress his value if he's out there on a QO

Kuminga needs to think about that shyt. If Kerr jerks his minutes this year, he isn't going to see the pay day he's looking for next summer either.

Which is why this could all easily be solved if they give him a player option.

Motivation on both sides.

That's what I was thinking, it's like GSW is saying fukk the future, we want one last run. Which I get, but at the same time, how are they expecting to supposedly be contenders in the big FA class with Gianni's and Joker if Steph, Dray, and Butler all retire and they're just left with Podz and whoever else.

You would think that if they wanted to ship off Kuminga, they would showcase him a lil bit and get his trade value up and then move him, but they just want the team option so they can move him immediately.

He mentioned it but this is why many players end up out the league. Thinking they’re better than what they are

Get in the corner & stfu :lolbron:
Yup you just listen to any player whose career ended earlier than intended (outside of injury) and its the same song "poltics, coach aint fukk with me, didnt get to show what I could do etc". That said, its gotta be more difficult for basketball players because every dude in the league was the man on every team he has ever been on before college. Having a lifetime of that and then being told for the first time that you aint really that and you gotta play a certain role gotta be tough. The smart, mature ones figure it out.
