What's the on court substitution system like?

Is it like last years where you pushed the joystick in different directions (which was trash) or like 2k15 where you just scrolled thru player names.

Bruh I hated the sub system in 16'

I would just pause and substitute from the menu, shyt was a chore. I hope this new method is similar to 2k15
