Wouldn't suggest buying this phone if you have a recent flagship phone (htc one, sg4, note 5, i phone 5/5s)

This should only come up as an option if you're in the market for a new phone or you're an android enthusiast

Ironically I like it better than the s4. Same size phone but feels better in the hand, plus assn overall better experience with the software, and the can ain't blurry like the s4 I had ( shot were always blurry for me) if you take the price into consideration, it easily ranks in the top phones on the market

agree to a certain extent...

personally, i would cosign 100% because to me there's no competition for the N5 except for the moto x. No Android phone can give you the speed, features and updates at this price. I haven't seen one custom skin that functions better than stock Android.

What i was trying to say was for people who already have great recent phones, I don't know if this is worth it since they'd break even between buying this and selling their current phones. The perks are great if you're in the market but this isn't a next gen device to me. It's close to the top of the current though.

Define this..because custom skins often give much more depth of features than stock

IMO most of the features are gimmicky as hell and the useful ones could be done on top of stock AOSP/ stock Android like the custom groups like cyanogen do.

Then these custom skins add a bunch of wait time to getting updates. No reason newer phones should be waiting on 4.3 (though I realize custom skins aren't the only cause of this problem) The tradeoff is just not worth it...

Don't get me wrong, some are dope, but you dont have to b*stardize the Android design guidelines to do so. Moto X seems to get the point.
