Still haven't received any of the updates

U on stock? Those OTA rollouts are too damn random for me. Even if I didn't do custom roms, I'd be rooted so I can get the updates in a timely manner.

you wouldn't have to if you have a decent phone you just buy the new phone and sell the old. that's provided you aren't eligible for an upgrade with your provider.
