If you out here with a switch 2 but you don't have the switch 2 pro controller then you might as well not even have a switch 2
B-b-b-but the switch 1 pro controller works on the switch 2
True but you can't use it to wake the switch 2. fukk I look like constantly pressing a button on my docked switch 2 to wake it up just so I can connect a controller to it
I just unboxed mine and hooked it up. I made time to get to it because if I didn't it would probably been Monday when I did anything with it. Anyways the downloads are god awful slow and I can't play anything while it is transferring everything over. Maybe everything will be transferred by tomorrow night or Sunday because it is slow as hell. I am hardwired and running 800 down. Maybe it is just server overload now
Yeah, we need to talk about switch 1 games. Which ones run better from out experiences.
I haven't had time to deep dive. But I tried monopoly (the old version not the 2024 version) and that's fine.
I tried resident evil 2 remake. That was actually very very good. I was impressed, it ran like it's supposed to fukking run.
I also popped in payday 2. And finally it runs smooth and plays well, even minus a lot of dlc and patches. But the big problem it doesn't work with the joycons in gamepad mode or pro controller undocked.
I only tried for like 10 minutes I mainly wanted to load up a map, run around and shoot bad guys and see if it was clunky and boxy...and it wasn't. It felt fukking playable, even though I ended up playing the hell out of it in the first place because I know 3 people that have it so, we'd play together. Eventually I stopped because it played horrible.
Now it plays well but the gamepad and pro controller 2 doesn't work, I'ma try to sync my original pro controller and see if that works.
I'll have to see about other games. If immortal fenyx rising goes on sale for $5 I'll cop that gold edition too because that should finally play right.
Edit: I tried it with the TV and it works fine, only undocked it's not working.
