They should have never made Game Key Cards. Some games I want a physical and a digital copy so I buy them on PS4/5 and Switch. I buy almost all PS5 games digital and all Switch games physical. Game Key Cards have ruined that strategy.

I don’t see why it’s so hard for Nintendo to make Switch games available on cards smaller than 64GBs.

It’s looking like 90% on non-Nintendo Switch 2 games will be on Game Key Cards.

It's just greed at the end of the day. Sadly, Nintendo has somehow only become greedier than they were before. And they have always been greedy.

I would think making an 8GB card would cost less than a 64GB card. They’re losing sales on some physical games because people will buy them on other platforms to avoid a Game Key Card.

Blame the publishers for not wanting to pay the fee for regular game cards

Nintendo limited their options to just a 64GB card when many games aren't gonna need that. I'm not gonna blame them for not giving up their profit margins on a game. It's like Apple only selling 1GB and 1TB iPhones. What about the customers that don't need 1TB but 1GB isn't preferred?

Honest to god I don’t see what the exact deal is with Game Key Cards.
It's a "physical" product that's actually digital. It has none of the benefits of digital and the only physical benefit is that it can be resold. It forces you to use storage space on a device with a very limited amount and people that want to buy a physical game don't purchase it to have a gimped digital game. Out of all the big 3 Nintendo is the least trustworthy when it comes to digital access. They would be the first to kill access to redownload old games on a console just as they killed digital store access to anything older than the Switch.

So overtime the Game Key Card becomes useless that version of the game will become lost? And devs op for that instead of paying more for the 64 gb cart? That’s odd.

Nintendo fully pushing for digital. Now why they are doing it I don't get since Nintendo gamers are the ones that care for physical release more than anyone else.

NISA and Falcom are the first dicks to charge more for a Switch 2 game on a Game Key Card than the PS5, PC, and Switch version with Trails Beyond The Horizon. Sure it’s a collector’s edition but it’s $10 more for less.

This launch is trash. I really want to buy it but nothing right now or the immediate future justifies it.
Buy it and replay TOTK and BOTW with better graphics like the rest of us

You aint really swung the master sword until you swung it in real hdr at 60 fps
