Are we all agreed this is the worst launch in recent Nintendo history?

There's not a single media/video app that works. YouTube, Hulu...none of that. Not even Crunchyroll.

There should be waaaay more Nintendo Switch 2 edition games. Seriously. Da fukk?
If looking at launch titles. I would say Wii U was worse since what was there outside Super Mario Bros. U? Hell the only launch title I remember from the Wii was Wii Sports. 3DS actually had nothing when it launched.

I guess there was more quantity for Wii & Wii U if that was the only console you owned I guess :manny:

Just picked up a Switch 2 from Best Buy :blessed:

I told myself if they still had them in stock, I would pick it up. Looked to be about 4 or 5 bundles left when I got there. Definitely plan on picking up DK soon as well.

How many people are using a screen protector? I have a Tempered Glass one for my Switch and I heard about issues with the screen getting scratched when putting it in the dock :jbhmm:. I guess I will get a new SD down the line as well, but don't need one right away.

I put one on mine. Just don't take off the screen protector that comes with it. I put mine on top of that.

Any recommendations for Switch games for the Switch 2 if I’ve already played many of the main line Mario games (Odyssey, 3D World + Bowser’s Fury)? Never played BoTW or TOTK so I’ll definitely be getting those. Mainly talking Nintendo exclusives.

Luigi’s mansion is fun

These are false.

It's good business if you make or sell screen protectors though.

The original switch and OLED dock, literally has 4 rubber bumpers that hold the switch in place. So as you put it in, it goes straight down and stays in place.

Rubber doesn't scratch plastic or glass

The switch 2 has a rubber bumper on the back that guides the console as you place it in the dock, the other side of the dock is completely smooth, there's literally nothing there that could scratch the screen.

If you're in some environment where something other than the console might get put into the dock, sure get a screen protector, and while your at it maybe an enclosed box with a lock and key.

Other than that there's no need for a screen protector for the dock and those people are idiots and a$$holes.

I have a screen protector but then again the switch has gone places, parks, people's houses, camping, on boats, planes, in cars. It's been dropped, splashed, stuffed in backpacks and bags, left on car seats, had stuff out on top of it etc.

People with the system say the film they put on the screen easily picks up scratches. I wouldn’t know because as soon as I got mine I put a tempered glass screen protector on mine.
