My favorite part was the promos. You could tell the guys believed everything they were saying.

When Eli Drake got on the mic, the wife was like when he was talking about the youngins running the wrestling game. That's one thing that makes the old school feel of NWA special, no pyro, no special effects, no bullshyt...just a bunch of wrestlers not for the fukk shyt. Now if only they actually home brew some talent then it would be a wrap

Aldis’ promo was fantastic. I like the whole throwback minimalist vibe. It gives them their own identity. Even the intro music had me ““ like I was watching a high speed chase in a late 80s movie. I think that Kamile chick was in the LFL too.

I need to watch this. Setting themselves apart with a retro 80s gimmick ain't that bad. Remember that LU basically ran with a Mexican Mortal Kombat gimmick.

I watched up until the main event on the train and I just finished it now and this is different enough that I could give it another chance. It was a trip not having entrance music and stuff for the wrestlers but it's whatever in the grand scheme. at Magnus' dumb ass calling him authentic after he hit him in the nuts to try to cheat.

I don't watch shyt but because of aew I watched all the shows. This is the best one of the week.
