A big NWA deal is set to expire soon, and we’ve learned more about that deal.

Kamille has been the anchor of the National Wrestling Alliance’s women’s division for several years, with a history World Title reign under her belt. However, as things stands, it appears as if she’s poised to leave the company on January 1.

NWA sources claim that Kamille gave her notice to the company back in October. She’d retained a six month option that would have seen an increase in pay, but instead she had opted to move on.

Kamille has had WWE tryouts in the past, two since 2016, including when she had no wrestling experience. Canyon Ceman, who is now out of the company, took an interest in her.

Details have been fuzzy on the relationship between the National Wrestling Alliance and The CW television network. For example, the debut of NWA content on The CW app was slipped under the radar without an official announcement. Before that, there were rumors of the NWA inking a TV deal, then there were rumors of heat over a fake cocaine snort during an NWA PPV that may have put them on thin ice. This whole story has been a huge mystery. At least, we now have one piece of concrete information.

The NWA officially announced a date for new programming on The CW app. Get ready for fresh episodes of NWA Powerrr coming February 6. The CW app promotes itself as, “Available everywhere. No login. No subscription. Just FREE.”

National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) star and cancer survivor Blk Jeez, legal name Darnell Kittrell, survived an attempted carjacking on Thursday, January 11, at approximately 7 p.m. in Philadelphia. Kittrell, who was in his vehicle, was approached by four masked men. In the course of the incident, one of the assailants shot Kittrell in the hip, resulting in a non-life-threatening injury.

Kittrell, who possesses a permit to carry a gun, used his legally registered firearm to defend himself and returned fire. The suspects fled the scene, and investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage for leads. Kittrell was taken to a local hospital and is recovering.

Scheduled to make his return to action at NWA Paranoia on Saturday January 13 in Fort Lauderdale, FL, after a courageous battle with cancer, Kittrell faced a setback due to the unfortunate incident. Diagnosed with multiple myeloma in the spring of 2023, a form of blood cancer that develops in plasma cells in the bone marrow, Kittrell's journey has been one of resilience and determination.

In response to the incident, Kittrell expressed his gratitude for the support, stating, "I was looking forward to making my return this weekend. I would love to make the trip regardless of the soreness and pain that I'm in. However, my gut tells me to stay home with my family this weekend. I look forward to making my return at the next NWA event. Thank you to everyone for your continued support."

:salute:

I don't really know much about NWA but was messing around with some research and found out they got a tv deal with Roku starting next week on Tuesdays. I wonder if this is something worth checking out or if its not even worth it. May watch a few episodes when it starts to see how it is.

I did watch them when they had that CW app deal and it's okay at best, but if we were to compare it to the time when Tyrus had the world title, it's better in comparison. Basically keep your expectations low.

I only know some Russian chick that i saw on Twitter. Not sure what else is going on or who else is on there. Guessing it's an hour show cuz that be more manageable as background noise type. That's if i remember to check it out especially with having to catch up on nxt that night and the G1 currently running. Don't expect to go too deep into nwa tho.

Been awhile since I paid attention to NWA, and I saw a video where they’re in a new arena with a bigger crowd and generally looks better. Anybody keeping up with it? Mike Mondo from the Spirit Squad apparently got on a new workout plan/PEDs and is one of the more noticeable guys there. He looks totally different than when he last appeared in the WWE lmao

I been catching up on the past month of episodes or at least gotta. They on the Roku channel now. Just started few months back, when they had this Crockett Cup tag tourney. The Colons were in it, Primo and Epico if you remember them from WWE. Elektra Lopez was on an episode, and I seen Damian Sandow and Rich Swann on there too. Not too familiar with the entire roster and it's mostly background noise as i browse tsc or social media but it's manageable at only an hour per episode.

Guessing the presentation improved since they on tv now but i didn't watch the old stuff to compare. I know they tape shows. They were at the ecw arena when i first started watching, think they in tampa from the ones I've currently seen.

It doesn't seem too bad and i do see some storylines going on cuz they have vignettes, I just haven't dived as deep into everything like the main companies. Of course not like social media talks about it much from what I've come across anyways. It's like when Rampage got canceled last year, just another hour of wrestling that took its place in my schedule, so not like it's been a burden.

I haven't kept up with it, but I know that their crowd size goes up and down at times. Honestly, them turning themselves around reminds me of how MLW turned themselves around. While not everyone is paying attention to them all the time, but it's nice to see them both grow as it helps the industry.
