My son is in private, but I would do a charter school too because this tuition is getting real. But his dad and I did not do our part to research and get him on a list in time. Plus we were trying not to move him around because he is comfortable where he is.

Next year he might be switching schools though.

Well I hope you have better luck than we did because we ended up being on the lottery.....#260's of the one who did not get in.
The paranoia in me suspects some :mjpls: going on based on the breakdown of the school but I could be wrong

Started my son of on this numberland on netflix a few months back. Hes 6 months. When he heres that numberland theme song come on he'll stop what hes doing n turn to the tv like :gladbron: :gladbron: so he can here them get their count on friends. Make sure nothing he watches is mindless.

We smile at him alot. Hes a very happy baby. Always smiling at people.

We take him around people in public a lot. Get him social and familiar with humanity so hes not all shy and shook when he starts moving around

No yelling in front of the baby.

An hour and a half before bedtime (10pm) for us, we put him in his jumparoo or find ways to make him move around a lot so hes nice and tired by 10.

No napping past 8pm. That means hes up later wanting to play when he should be, wanting to sleep

Bought a breast pump for my wife. We've had him on breast milk for a solid 6 months. Not a drop of formula but as hes getting older and wanting to drink more, we add the baby food fruit to the milk so we can stretch it out a little more.

Family asking if they can keep him overnight - No

Put everything that a baby can choke on, away and out of reach for good, before they start crawling so you dont have a scare the day they decide to start crawling out the blue to put something harmful in their mouth.

No sleeping with baby on bed once they are able to roll around. They will try to roll off the bed.

when do you think its time to start watching cartoons with a meaning, like spiderman and xmen?

You never know, I am paranoid about my son getting fair treatment at his school because of the breakdown at his school. But We let them know quick :usure: we were watching them.

It is just said you have to even go through that to get your child a decent education. If it wasn't for my son's dad he would already be in public school. They to have free online learning here, but I worry about him having the interaction.

Dont try to be your kids "best friend".

Whatever you say around them/near/within earshot will be repeated at the most inappropriate times :snoop:

put em on an 100% organic "diet". Their behavior will drastically change and grades will improve (along with information retention)...At least that's what works for me :yeshrug:

TV once a week (usually on sunday) Go outside everyday for an hour- hour and a half. This is non negotiable.

Punishments
will include push ups, burpees, up downs, jumping jacks, jogging etc...none of that spanking shyt.

Thats a tough one friend. Id say when you can help your child understand whats going on in the episode is when you can allow them to watch those types of shows. They are typically very violent and at a glance the child may only absorb the action and not the message. Essentially these are social programming shows that have a moral lesson for the child. Id advise watching some of these shows yourself before showing them to your child.

Im going to do my best to keep my son away from as much television as possible. Get him started with educational games and take him outside to play more so sitting him in front of characters that may or may not be demonic. Id rather him spend more time wanting to learn something then watch something mindless shows like spiderman and x-men but kids need that downtime. Id like to be his role model more so some fictitious super heroes on tv, friend. Obviously, this is hard because parents want that break away from the child to do what they want to do and tv is a great babysitter for kids but its called programming for a reason so please pay attention to what is being programmed into your child. It could be so demonic, friend.

Buy your kid a Kindle or iPad mini.....My son(9yrs old) on average reads about 3-5 teen/young adult books a week and have them tell you about the book. Even though he spoiled some of the movie for me, he read the entire Hunger game series and told me about each one of them.

Have them read Wikipedia. When he wants to find out about some character in a game/book. I have him Google it and read wiki..

Throw mini lessons about life to your child, not a sit down/ listen to me talk for an hr. But something casual and kind of fits into whatever you guys were talking about.

thank you friend, very insightful, words of a wise man.

although i am willing to take my nephew under my wing and mold his 3 year old mind, you see the problem is he lives with his mom and grandmother and my brother thinks he will become feminine under them so i suggested we have him for a few weeks and make him watch old wwf matches to train his young mind :lupe: its so demonic but it will help in th elong run with boyhood.

A couple weeks wont make the difference for the rest of his life friend. You're going to need to spend more time with him then that. Where is your brother in all this. Isnt this his child?

baaaagawwd, my brother works most of the time and has problems with the mother of his child plus he doesnt want to hurt his pride by asking for the boy all the time i guess, im just happy with her bringing random dudes around my nephew :dahell: but its out of my hands friend, i just want the boy to be around his proper family.

i have a 21 month old and wanna get her in daycare. its expensive but i think it would be good for her to be around other kids and just have some structure. at home, its more go with the flow. at daycare, at least you eat at a certain time. take naps at a certain time. all that stuff. was it worth the money for u? also if any dads know how to do daughters hair, share some tips please. my daughter has curly hair, but man, it dries up so easily. also how did you do potty training? my daughter never sits on the potty seat long enough to go. she has no patience.
