Is the gh4 worth it for video?

Just will be recording for church

I have the GH5 and LOVE it.
I can show you all kinds of video I've shot with it and the image is crystal clear.
If I recall correctly the GH4 does not have in body stabilization and cannot shoot in 60fps.
If you are planning on shooting on a tripod then you should be good to go.
What's your total budget? You sure you can't afford to go with a used GH5?
The micro 4/3 sensor is challenging to use in low light situations but you can get metabones speedbooster to increase the performance as well as give you the ability to use Canon lenses.

Yes. I shoot everything in 4K 60fps to be able to slow down and speed up the footage however I want and keep things smooth.
For weddings I would definitely get a gimbal which a decent one will run you $600 - $1000.
There are cheap fly cams that you can find for about $300 that you can use instead of an electronic gimbal like the Zhiyun crane
Whatever you decide to get you have to keep in mind the cost of lenses, and if you want to go with canon lenses you have to consider the cost of the speed booster or similar adapter. This is a VERY expensive hobby / business.

Yes, I have the 2.8L and yes its worth it. My friend has the f/4, the 2.8 depth of field is better along with its low light performance. It is heavier though.,

Yep ..that 2.8 is crisp as hell.
Heavy as hell, looks like you have Megamans arm on your camera but ..worth it.

It’s still amazing to me how lenses hold their value.

Had a 10-18mm Ef-s that I no longer use I bought it for 300 Canadian like four years ago

Sold it for 260 cdn on eBay

Everyone will say 2.8, but imo depends what you're shooting. For sports, concerts, weddings I'd say f2.8 is worth it. If you focus more on landscape and portraits for me f4 is just fine and its lighter when moving around.

I'm Sony though too so I'm not too familiar with the Canon 7-200 glass and how they are.

if you shooting in low light 2.8 is better than the f4. if your arent, then it doesnt matter. I have shot at f$ in dark as concerts tho. i have a 2.8 but i fukked with the f4 heavy. and its lighter

Nice shots. That location is really nice.
I would consider lowering the iso to let night time look like night time.
