Ok I'm new to this thread and i do content for youtube. I know little to nothing about photography even though I've been taking pictures for 2 decades haha. I seriously want to learn from you guys that are professionals so a lot of my questions may seem stupid or rudimentary. I just purchased 2 cameras, some tripods, flashes, a battery grip, and lighting recently since I have a lot of time on my hand. One of them is for little filming shyt on youtube and the other is for filming and pictures. I don't want to make money as a photographer, but I want my shyt crisp and to document my city as I did in the past as I captured so many of my associates that would go on to big things. I'm gonna be bugging a lot of you in your dms :russ:

Good to hear, sounds like you gathered up the gear. Best thing you can do is practice over and over again. Get it right in the camera, your post work will be less. Fire away with questions, share your work when you can.

I definitely know it's the lenses. I didn't go super professional. I just got a Sony A6400 and Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. If I continue to like what I'm doing, I plan on upgrading with more lenses. Right now I just shoot a lot of hip hop inspired pictures like my own vinyl, equipment, and books. I'm here for the knowledge cuz I don't know shyt.

Probably the most helpful, honest, genuine thread on this site. Everyone here supports each other.

I'll take your word for it, going to Amazon right now...

Nice. My 5diii + 40 pancake is my most used and most memorable lens and body combination ive ever had throughout all my years of shooting. Hope you get even half the enjoyment that i got out of mine. Craigslist is a great place for lenses as well.

5DMIV is a great camera, had one with a nice collection of lenses. The 50mm f/1.8 is another lens you might want to look at, tried and true longtime performer.
