Went to the second interview today and it couldn't have gone any better.
After the interview we actually sat around chopping it up about random stuff and after a while I looked at my watch and told them "I gotta let you guys get back to work. It was great seeing you again!" I asked how many people have they narrowed it down to at this point and the supervisor says "Well I'm not supposed to tell you but....2 people. That's it".
Shortly after the interview the people I put as my references hit me up and told me they just got an email from the city asking about me as an employee and they all responded bigging me up immediately.
I figure I should hear something back in the next week or so at this point.
If I don't get the offer I'd be surprised and disappointed but life goes on.
At this point I'm feeling very optimistic.

Make me wanna hit the streets right now Glad I have time this weekend to go out.

Being in Korea has definitely helped with my street photography confidence. I get caught a lot because I dont blend in obviously but a nice wave, smile, and keep it moving works. Although an older Korean cat caught me once and almost wanted to throw hands at his food stand.

These are some photos I took on a feature film set I crewed on last week, I was 1st AC. The film is called E-14, it'll be coming out later this year. The film follows multiple characters who all live on/work on International Blvd (E-14th) and looks at how the prostitution and poverty that the strip is notorious for intersects with gentrification, immigration and the multiple ethnic groups that live on the street. The film is micro-budget (i.e. less than $100,000) and the crew on the project is predominantly Oakland/Richmond natives including the screenwriting team. the DP is somebody with an extensive documentary and commercial project background, this is his first narrative feature film along with the majority of the crew. I've worked on one narrative feature before this but this project is lightyears more ambitious and better-written than the last project I was on lol.

The film won't be edited for another couple months but since I was pulling focus and etc. on the majority of the set-ups I can definitely say that most of the material we got was from a visual standpoint.
