I remember when you had to wait for like the 5d 3 to 5d mark iv (4 years)
In the past 6 months canon has released the r7, r6 ii, r8, r50, r10. More cameras than rf lenses

I was watching that manny ortiz video on the canon r8, he mentioned that he thinks soon cameras will give you an option of more of a "portrait mode" aka fake bokeh that smart phones do. So even with a crummy kit lens you'd be able to get that that feel
$1500 and $600 for what those new canon cameras is a crazy price point for everything you get, would’ve been $2500 a few years ago. No mechanical shutter is a major deal breaker though. My SS lives well above 2000 when that sun is up, I need HSS.
that canon r8 is basically the canon r6 ii just a smaller body, no mechanical shutter, no ibis and no dual card slot
Still at that price point its better than anything out there.
Kind of wish I waited i paid the same price for the r7

sigma is so sharp just shot at 1.4 all night and these are jpegs don't even have to touch raw files
